Rena 2,779 / 33,647 Report Post Posted October 9, 2016 I've been wondering lately how most of the players have found this server, so I'd like to read about it. :] I found the server by searching for surf servers, after a couple of years of not playing Counter-Strike games. Switched from CS:S to CS:GO in late 2014, and I used to play a lot of Surf RPG servers, so I was wondering if there were any for CS:GO. Mad_Father 295 / 6,918 Report Post Posted October 9, 2016 Edited October 9, 2016 by Mad_Father (started CS 1.6 five years ago but that's irrelevant for now..,) When I first started CS:S a few years back, I went to search for gungame surf servers on server browser since I loved gungame surf dm back in CS 1.6, then I found the RPG SURF DM on CSS and some other regular surf dm so I chose the regular surf dm. A year later, I moved to CS:GO for try out. I found the ze server hosted by GFL so I played there since the server hosted by the other famous provider from CS:S in CS:GO barely gets players so I just played ze. Sometime in late 2014, I feel like I don't want to switch back and forth form CS:S and CS:GO so I looked up some surf servers on go, then again I noticed the Surf RPG DM hosted by GFL, since I can't find any regular surf server so I decided to give it a try. In June of 2016, after the website was rebooted and made a thread complaining certain issue as one of my first posts here before applying for full time admin... That's how I ended up here... I mean it's still fun but those who play for hours and level up, makes the weaker ones hard to climb the mountain. Eventually wanted something to grind and remembered CSS surf RPG from a while back. Then sorta just fell in here and got stuck. Thomasdavid097 533 / 8,791 Report Post Posted October 17, 2016 I got in love with rpg when shini showed me cs:s surf rpg, sadly then I was bad at surfing, still am not the best surfer but good to not fail all the time. I started to learn how to surf when we played two surfing maps on cs:s ze alot, then I saw we had a cs:go surf rpg server and played on that, really loved the gamemode being it had a good player base won't really say it was friendly as it is now but yes still really good.
