Darklings Introduction

My names James!

I'm from England (Yes i know another EU member )

 

I've been here for quite a while but hadn't ever gotten involved in the community until i joined the new site.

A lot of you already know me or have heard of me

 

My current roles within the community

 

Admin on CSGO JailBreak

This role is what i am primarily for GFL. Its the server that got me to become involved in the community and most the players there know me pretty well! 

It involves a little RP and lets people with control issues be in charge of lots of people XD 

Love everyone who plays here

(Not gonna tag people for this as it would literally be the whole server except @Parrot )

 

Media Team

This is something i wanted to use to help out GFL (It is currently in flux at the moment because of Media Team leader position being chosen)

This is one which i think will have the most impact for GFL if done well. Basically advertising the community in a positive way to bring in members using other formats then the GFL servers.

 

Why I'm staying in GFL

My belief is that GFL has the chance to become MUCH bigger then it currently is and i want to have some input into bringing that together.

Yes there are some issues we need to work through, but these will just make the community stronger for pulling through them!

 

Servers I tend to play on + Mentions

CSGO Surf timer (all Difficulties)

This is one I've always played on and enjoy just hopping on for a quick couple of runs 

There are some real stars on the server such as @Bredcrumbs @Craze + a others who i don't actually know your forum name

 

CSGO EU + NA 1v1 server

This is mainly because i like to improve my gameplay and you can practice your aim using these servers

At least until @Cypher calls a vote to kick 

There are always people on here who we have some friendly "banter" with. Far too many to actually tag you all

 

Gmod Purge

Now this ones a fairly new addition to my roster. I hopped on after looking at source bans and seeing somewhat of a streak of bans on the server.

 So i went to take a peek at why that was happening

After reading every rule 50 times over to make sure i didn't get myself banned

On my first day i was getting showed around by a few guys who then proceeded to mug me at gunpoint.

I ended up getting taught how to build some pretty awesome bits and how to RP better by- (prepares long list of mentions)

@Unknown

and lots more players!!

 

I do also frequent most the other GFL servers just haven't made my mark there yet!

 

Other useless bits of information about me

I used to be a chef. Placed second in the Young Coeliac Chef of the Year! 

I'm going to be returning to university to study Physics

I love to learning different languages

I sing to myself and no one else because i'm probably bad XD

My parents are German but i was born in England so i don't have the German accent @Dano hates so much

Self taught C++ and Java... Going to be learning PHP soon
