How do I use the GFL Panel to manage my server?
Example(s)
I want to manage my server using the GFL Panel (Pterodactyl)
Cause(s)
You haven't used the GFL Panel previously
Solution(s)
You will be provided login information for the panel once you have been promoted to such position that requires it, which you can use to login to the panel at https://gflpanel.gflclan.com , this same password is also used for your FTP client! If you were not provided the login information yet you require it because you are server manager, then please contact your Division Leader.
Once logged in, you will see your dashboard with all of the servers that you have access to listed on the main page. If you wish to change your account information or setup 2FA, then you can do so in the Account Management sidebar.![]()
Click on the server name that you want to access (If you are server manager, you'll most likely only have one server visible), your dashboard view will then change to this:
In the server view you can see the console output of the server, server control buttons and overall server management such as files, schedules, startup parameters and SFTP settings to access the server via FTP client. You can use the console to adjust server related things such as changing cvars, unloading/loading plugins and more for which there will be another tutorial article later.
You can change server startup parameters in the Configuration > Startup Parameters menu, most of the time server will be already configured for you with no access to adjust the startup parameters. In that case you will see "Read Only" under each section indicating so. It's still good to read the startup parameters to know what is the setup for your server.
There is also "Schedules" tab for automated tasks such as restart server at X hour or perform task such as send server message every Y minutes. At this moment it's not working properly, so we won't be covering it yet.
The "SFTP Settings" tab is required to locate your login information to the servers FTP client to better manage files for which there will be another article, you can also manage all server files using the "File Management" tab, but FTP client such as FileZilla is recommended for easier and faster configuration of the server files.
Additional Information
You will have to use the GFL Panel to manage your server, so please check each page to see what all information is available for you. In case your server is down the panel will be used to restart it.
