so going from 1v1 server to another 1v1 server I noticed this one which is well an interesting story due to recompiling source mod it's self the owner has effectively made it so they don't have to wait for sourcemod to update when servers get hit by an update these servers are up within 1 hour maybe an hour sometimes due to making the fix themselves and adjusting the sourcemod to fix the issue it's self.
also it seems like all the more successful servers are running OVH and on linux which is well mind baffling for csgo.

pros recompiled source mod upon each update not dependent on sourcemod devs to create an update themselves inturn they are not behind but ahead of everyone else.

not exactly open source in terms of anything so excluded from almost any outside help
What Can We Do Better
allowing the outside to help us and allowing people to see the plugins on the server via sm plugins 11 22 33 and being open source where they are not.
Other Notes
it's worth checking out all these servers also there is more then one overlay allowing the website to be broadcasted on your screen inturn causing traffic to there website to occur more often
