  • Reintroduction of Technical Administrator

    Hello, with the upcoming changes to our machines in the near future, and to prepare, we've decided to reintroduce Technical Administrator.

     

    Their responsibilities will include handling the back-end of our system when and if necessary (includes web setup, gameservers, etc.)

    The following people in the group will be:

     

    Please join me to welcome them with our newly reintroduced role in GFL!

    hm, this is quite a surprise since we held a vote to remove it quite recently. @Darkling sorry to ask, but wasn't there a promise to not make Nick Staff again? No harm feeling nick, just quite curious on what happened to that promise.

    There was a promise, I tried looking for the exact message but I could not find it. In essence I said to Violator that whilst I was Director, Nick would not get staff again. This was to reassure the staff team who had multiple issues with the way Nick carried out his ideas. 

     

    I guess me not being Director kind of circumvents my promise, I do think Nick should have always stayed as Tech Admin before and not have been moved to Director anyway. I wouldn't worry about any hard feelings, if Nick couldn't take it then he wouldn't still be around.

    The promise about Nick was reverted when we(directors) made this decision to make him staff again.

    Glad to see GFL is turning back to doing what's best for the community and not listening to people who backlash because it conflicts their own opinion.
