💥 Bacon's Community Representative Campaign 💥
Hello all! Some of you know me, some of you don't. I have been apart of GFL whether that be playing and/or staffing for a good chunk of 7ish years (I first started playing CS:GO ZE in 2015). It took me a few years after that to full embrace all that GFL has to offer and utilize my experience to help out. I have retained many ranks throughout my time here and I would definitely consider myself qualified for this role. To learn more please continue reading 🙂

Roles:
CS:S Deathrun Server Admin -Â My early time in GFL consisted of CS:GO ZE and CS:S DR. My first staffing position was for the latter where I applied and was accepted to be an admin. This position unfortunately didn't last super long as I stopped playing shortly after and the server was shut down.

Rust Chatmod -Â During early 2021 my time and commitment to GFL really leaped. I grew incredibly fond of Rust and loved the servers GFL had. As a chatmod I was in charge of watching over chat, reported any cheaters I suspected to my higher staff members, and read over applications and vote for potential new staff members. I was later promoted to Senior Chatmod for my job well done.

Rust Admin -Â After my job well done, I was promoted into Trial Admin. At this point I was entrusted with much more responsibility and I started to make a name for myself. Lets just say....the cheaters were not happy when I was the one watching. I was tasked with taking in reports from our playerbase and investigated whether or not we believe them to be cheating. I singlehandedly banned well over 50+ cheaters who tried to ruin the gaming experience for the rest of our players.Â

Rust Server Manager - Eventually it came to a point where there was a vacancy that needed to be filled for a higher level position. I was still only an Admin at the time (which I retained for a decent time), but I had earned the trust through my staffing to be accepted on as the newest Server Manager. I was extremely nervous, especially because I was given the 5x server (which at the time was our highest pop server). The 5x players were very welcoming and I attribute a ton of credit to them for enabling me to reach my peak. Throughout this time, I configured plugins, made sure wipe occurred on time and physically wiped the server, along with accepting and denying applications mixed with all the other responsibilities from above. This all cumulated into me being promoted into a Global Server Manager. I had proved myself and I was now able to help out on all the servers we had running where I worked very closely with my then DL @Dominick and we formed a great staff team to go along with a great playerbase. This was my position for the rest of Rust's days until the reboot.

Rust Division Leader -Â In August of 2021 Rust was shutdown amidst some drama. It wasn't until November of 2021 where I (along with some others) approached Infra and Aurora with a plan to bring Rust back to GFL. After we were greenlit I was chosen as the Division Leader based off past experience and was entrusted with creating the server from scratch. After a months time of work, I was proud to have a finished product. I was Division Leader for 4 months until my resignation and the ultimate shutdown of Rust 2.0. Through this experience I was able to gain valuable insight on what makes servers succeed, and unfortunately through experience, what makes them fail.Â

Rust Discord Moderator -Â During this time I was also apart of the discord moderation team for Rust. I was and am still extremely active on discord, so I figured it was a great way to help out even more. I helped ban the many bot spams that tried to raid our discords and tried my hardest to make discord a better place.

Conclusion
Currently, I am the only Community Representative candidate right now who does not hold a staff position. This has no effect on the amount of effort I am willing to put into this position. For those of you that do know me, you know I am extremely hard-working and willing to do whatever it takes to rise to the top. I would like to become CR in order to help GFL in a big way and ensure that the players are happy and confident that their favorite servers are going to succeed.
