Boy Scouts is now allowing girls to join

This ties into a previous thread

If you haven't heard, the Boy Scouts of America is now allowing girls to join Cub Scouts and will implement a new scouting program for older girls that will allow them to earn the rank of Eagle Scout, in which if you don't know, is the highest rank you can get in Boy Scouts, and takes a lot of hard work and dedication. All of this will be implemented next year. Your thoughts?

It looks like the only reason they're allowing girls to join is that they're low on members, which is most likely why they increased the membership fee to $33. http://www.nwgabsa.org/

Boy Scouts of America is called Boy Scouts for a reason. It allows young men to learn values and skills that will allow them to be a successful adult. There's no reason that girls can't have these, which is why the Venturing Organization exists. If young boys and girls camped together, then there's probably going to be some sexual problems, especially during their adolescent period. 

If BSA wants more money, then they should appeal to the 90% of American boys who are not in Boy Scouts.

they kind of already had this when i was in boy scouts. they called it varstiy scouting and it was coed and you aged out at 21

they aren't going to merge them. girlscouts is a dissorganized cookie selling scheme that also does community outreach, and boy scouts is a religious organization that is at it's core extremely homophobic but also extremely homosexual in the way they do things.

I don't want to get political but there is boys scouts and girls scouts there is no point in girls scouts if girls can join boys scouts and it would be the same if it was reversed.
