lets set things straight.  the Net Neutrality laws were put into place in 2015.  in 2014 was the internet dead, and were companies restricting certain websites?

the answer is no.

this vote was republican vs democrat i will not deny that

I found this while preparing a speech for my speech class (we were assigned various topics, mine was net neutrality)

Those are specific instances that can now easily occur again, but with greater magnitude and frequency. I definitely agree that the internet certainly was not dead in 2014, but companies were beginning to test the waters of what they could get away with.

I for one, will not put my trust in Comcast's, or ANY ISP's, supposed commitment to net neutrality.

If they weren't planning to implement these policies, then why would they fight so hard to repeal those protections? I'm sorry, but the idea that some of the richest companies on the planet "cannot afford to expand and upgrade their networks" due to these restrictions is absolutely absurd.

Thanks,

3 republicans voted to repeal 2 democrats voted to keep. It is clear which party works for the people and which works for corporations. Fuckface will leave the FCC soon enough and go back to Verizon to get paid millions for what he did.
