Serpent's Hand

SCP-079 is probably one of the most unique and interesting SCPs currently in Breach. However, there are two major issues with 079:

1.     He can’t escape- As of right now, 079 is the only SCP incapable of escaping the facility since he is stationary. This problematic since it can often cause rounds to stall, as well as it leaves him with no overall goal. 

2.     His C.I. spawn- While very powerful and one of my favorite abilities, the Chaos Insurgency can be as helpful as they can be harmful. They can either be a serious hazard for the MTF, or the can cause significant damage and even kill some SCPs (including 079.)

But how can we solve both of these issues? Well, let me introduce you to the Serpent’s Hand.

 

 

                                                                                                                                 

 

The Serpent's Hand is a Small but formidable organization that embraces the use and existence of paranormal items. They particularly embrace humanoid and sentient SCPs (such as 079).

Stats And Equipment

-      Consists of 3 “Serpent’s Hand Members

-      Each Member will carry a stun stick, a radio, an O5 card that can’t set off the nuke, a random SMG, and an SCP-500 (since they often use anomalous items to aid in their retrieval of SCPS.)

-      Each member will also be wearing a Serpent’s Hand vest (model below) which will have the same stats as an ordinary NTF vest.

Relationships

-      Friendly: SCPS | Hostile: MTF, C.I., Researchers Neutral: D-class

-      Their name color will be red

Goal

The team of Serpent’s Hand Members will be spawned in by SCP-079 in place of the C.I. he normally spawns. Their goal is to reach SCP-079 and retrieve him from the facility. In order to do so, they must enter the small gated surrounding SCP-079 simply type !escort. Afterwards they can help the other SCPs escape (if any are left) and then leave the facility themselves.

I don’t remember which of these packs contain the Serpent’s Hand model but the model is labeled “DZ“ and looks like this:

Note: The model packs above are from and used in a Russian Breach server. They do allow free use of it as long as you give them credit and don’t re-upload them. If you aren’t able to use them for these reasons Xy just let me know so I won’t suggest any more models from this pack in the future. Thank you for your time.

And why would their name be red? wouldn't it be green? not C.I green but green.

"Formidable" the only reason they are, is because they're abunch of loose cannons

Also [There's no special way to join the Hand. There are no secret rituals done in basements or closets. We hold no elections for our leaders. If you want to become a member of the Serpent's Hand, all you have to do is decide you are a member of the Serpent's Hand.] why would they have the same armor? when i think Serpent's hand, i think abunch of citizens that know of The Foundation and don't like it.

I want their names to be red so people associate them with SCPs. Their main goal is to help other SCPs so it would be kind of confusing if a D-class saw the green name tag, thinking they were a new variant of C.I., only to be gunned down.

The whole idea behind this is that 079 contacted some well-equipped members of the Serpent's Hand to retrieve him due to the containment breach that is currently occurring. 079 is smart, so he is going to contact members that can fight the MTF, and those members probably won't head into the facility without proper protection. Although, it would probably be cool if the Serpent's Hand used the citizen model when they took their armor off. I mostly chose the armor because its the only model on the workshop that is clearly associated with the Serpent's Hand (with the symbol and the green coloring.) Just think of them as a bunch of citizens who decided to form a Serpent's Hand strike force. The Serpent's Hand has performed raids before.

I just copied that from the SCP website

 

Keep in mind that I'm mostly looking at this from a gameplay perspective. This addition could greatly improve 079. However,  I do still take the lore into account (which is why I choose the Serpent's Hand since they're the most fitting organization to carry out a mission like this.)

This is the difference between you and me, You mostly look from gameplay

I Mostly look from Lore.

My form of thinking is, i don't care if this one thing is overpowered as hell, i just want it to be lore friendly, and it'd be a rewarding feeling to take down a lore friendly 682 or 343.

Yea, I agree. It's kind of hard to strike a balance between lore and gameplay. However, I still feel like my suggestion is still lore friendly. I mean armor looks a standard military vest with a bunch of metal and wiring strapped on. Also, in my future suggestions, feel free to correct for any other lore-related mistakes I make. I'm not the most well-versed person in terms of SCP lore, but I still want to be as lore friendly as possible.

Also, Xy, could you make it so they have a chance to spawn with a shotgun, since it is my favorite weapon in breach. It also makes stand out a little more from the NTF and C.I.

I don't think it will be much of an issue since the Serpent's Hand members will most likely face opposition, stalling the progress, or even die preventing 079 from escaping at all.

The AUG is a rifle, and each Serpent's Hand member only spawns with a random smg so it won't be an issue.

Breach is a gmod gamemode so you already kNoW it got non of dat lore shit
