the first post in status updates

make status updates ignorable thanks.

 

while a status is counted as a post shown in one of these boxes

 

I'm looking for a status feed option simply because there is flaws to the current way it works as the first status update is 100% guaranteed to be seen and posts and status feeds are well the same box that must be ticked if people can simply ignore a status update that would be great.

thanks for reading this also this would require some back end work of the website it's self and how it functions.
