From recent complaints I've seen many people saying how the beacons block the LR, especially in hard races. PurpleExod 151 / 5,111 Report Post Posted November 26, 2017 I dont think it is very necessary. If a beacon distracts a player doing climb, they should just not pay attention to it, plain and simple. I have NEVER seen someone lose LR due to a beacon and frankly, if I did I would be extremely suprised. The reasons beacons are used is as @Moose stated, so players who delay can be easily located.
