Welcome to the last seasonal event of the year, and possibly the most important one for every community out there, The Christmas Event! This year, GFLClan's CS:S ZE server will be celebrating it BIG time (and also earlier than Christmas, because we're good and generous like that), this event will take an entire weekend to be done! Starting Friday the 14th (that means this weekend) until Sunday the 16th we'll be having our little christmas event with an appropiate mix of chill and tryhard! For this event we'll be playing: Friday the 14th: ze_christmas_infection_v2_3 ze_christmas_beta3f ze_santassination_css2 Saturday the 15th: ('tis the day of M249s!) ze_santassination_css2 Sunday the 16th: ze_licciana_xmas_v1 ze_rooftop_runaway_xmas_v1 ze_sorrento_xmas_v4 ze_lila_panic_escape_v3_1 ze_antartika_b2 ze_totally_new_wester Times for the respective events: Friday's event will start at 1am GMT-0 Saturday's event will start at 11pm GMT-0 Sunday's event will start at 11pm GMT-0 To check at which time the event is for you, check this website to give you an idea. Eventually the times will be posted in our Steam group for your convenience so make sure to join it so you can see the exact time at which it starts for you! Special Kickers: Friday the 14th: Santassination will be played in Normal mode only, no glitching allowed in any way and no rifles / M249s, bhop will remain on Saturday the 15th: ('tis the day of M249s!) Extreme Act III + Truth Mode only. For this event, we'll only limit ourselves to getting Skinny Santa stuck by having someone sacrifice to it, the rest of the stage must be done without glitching BUT bhop will be disabled If trying to do it as legit as this gets in our heads, we'll be allowed to cheese Skinny and Big Santa, but bhop will be enabled Sunday the 16th: The first three maps can be played up to a maximum of 60 minutes and can be rtv'd whenever the players feel like they want to. Admins can make a vote to enable funmode or the special items plugin, but the map must be won normally first at least once. New Wester will be played from Normal Stage 1 to Insane Godmode with a maximum of 3 hours to beat it, if Insane God is not beaten then only winners of Normal Godmode will be counted, if Insane God is won then only winners of Insane God will be counted for the V.I.P. reward VIP Rewards: Win 7 out of all the 10 maps to get a week of V.I.P. Duration of the events: Friday: Each map will have a maximum of 2 hours to be won, if the maps are won before the 2 hour mark then that time can stack for the next map (so if you win Christmas Infection in 40 minutes, then you have 3:20 hours to beat the next map) Saturday: A maximum of 5-7 hours or until we give up. Sunday: The first three maps can be played for a maximum of 60 minutes (but they can be rtv'd earlier if players wish to), Lila Panic and Antartika can be played up to a maximum of 2 hours and New Wester will be played for a maximum of 3 hours. Rules: On Friday, chill talk is allowed on the mic so long as it doesn't get too much in the way of leading, if it gets too much in the way then mutes will be handled On Saturday, no chill / memery will be allowed as the event will be as tryhard as it can be, so keep your chill for after the event On Sunday, chill and memery are allowed on the first three maps, once we get to Lila Panic and onward, the chill will start getting restricted if it gets in the way of leading (since these maps require leading) Regular server rules will apply for this event as usual Sitting in spec unless you're a spectating admin is not allowed.
