rip Is SCP-079 planned to be added back?

The title speaks for itself. SCP-079 never quite seemed like the most exciting class to play as, and many players didn't see it as the major supporting class that it was designed to be. It makes a bit sense that it was removed, players probably didn't find it fun, but are there any plans to add it back into the game?

Ain't gonna lie, I loved 079. Guy was the under dog scp imo. If he won, He Won. I do wanna see him back. Maybe implement an SCP select screen. Thats be a ass to make but it could circumvent some of the problems of playing SCPs you dont want. I know Aura hates 096 but I do, so it becomes awkward when we both get the others favorite SCPs.

i mean if we have that then I feel like people would choose the best scps there are and it would be annoying to deal with a scp team that has the most dangerous scps

A way that I might get around this is by grouping the scps into three threat levels. When you are selected to be an scp, you can choose from any scp within a threat level that is randomly selected for you. That way you still have some choice but the actual balance of the scp team is mostly unaffected.

If this does become implemented, then perhaps it could happen at the end of rounds and possibly the beginning of each round as well.

It might also be a good idea to add an opt-out button in case someone selected plans on going AFK, and it will simply transfer it to someone else then.

079 was my favorite SCP to play as when he was added back in mid-2018 (and was also the main reason for the Serpents Hand's inclusion), so I am hoping that he will make a return.

You could also make it so any SCPs in the previous round cannot be chosen for the next one.

Isn't every SCP supposed to be balanced though, kinda' like tf2 classes. They are all meant to be powerful and each one of them is unique, but they all level off at the same place, regarding their difficulty in deal with. I don't see what a threat level system may bring, but SCP selection is interesting. Though, if it is added everybody would need the idea that each Class is equal, so we don't get SCPs that are overplayed and SCPs that are underplayed.

you get to willingly choose 610 even if you are any other class.
