SCP-019 "The Monster Pot"

Note: I am well aware XY is quite busy at the current moment, and I dont like flooding him with suggestions, so this will likely be my last one for a while. 

 

Brief Description:

SCP-019 is an incredibly difficult to destroy pot that constantly spawns monsters from within itself. These monsters are small and fast, but fragile. They don't last long when not near scp-019.

 

Gameplay Description:

-SCP-019(The Pot itself) would spawn in a cell somewhere on the map. I suggest using one of the 3 rooms past 049's containment in order to prevent it from getting killed easily.

-SCP-019 itself isn't playable. it instead allows the playable SCP(SCP-019-2) to keep respawning until killed. It should have around 2k HP.

-SCP-019(the pot) can be escorted by serpent hands once they reach it, allowing the player to successfully escape(like how 079 worked). As a result, serpent hand is guarateed to spawn when SCP-019 has spawned.

-SCP-019-2(The actual player) has infinite respawns so long as scp-019 is alive. Escaping as SCP-019-2 doesnt grant any points.(Unless you dont want SH to escort the pot, in which case SCP-019-2 can escape normally(Same thing that happens when able escapes where they dont respawn).

-SCP-019-2 has incredibly low hp(having only 50 hp) but moves incredibly quickly(SCP-173 speed). 

-SCP-019-2 would be using a modified version of the fast headcrab swep from Zombie Survival gamemode(same way scp-049's use a modifed zombie swep).

(The fast zombie weapon from this gamemode also comes with a fast headcrab model with animations and hitboxes. I imagine it should be usable).

This seems familiar.

 

 

 

There are some issues i have with this, and some i would tweak a bit. But overall we agree on most things here.

 

Instead of one SCP-019 that can infinitely respawn, i was thinking there would be several. One spawns each minute, and they die rather quickly (2 minutes until death.) this would better fit the lore, as SCP-019-2 specimens dont live for very long outside the pot.

 

I like the idea of SH being able to escort it. But if they could, maybe the pot's spawn cell should be guarded by an 05 door.

 

The health pool of 019-2 is a nice touch. It would better fit the idea of "weak individually, but does damage in numbers."

 

We agree about the fast headcrab model. That seems obvious for this SCP.

 

I was about to flesh this SCP out further in its own suggestion, but you beat me to it ;)

The only problem I see with the pot being guarded by an O5 door is that how would 019-2 get out since SCPs cannot open doors that require keycards?

And even if this SCP has a room that requires an O5, SCP-019-2 will be able to open it and could potentially forget to close it. OR it could have one of those automatic closing doors like in the melon room and even if there was an automatic closing door someone would be able to sneak in before the door closed.

As I mentioned back on Boomer's suggestion, I feel as though this would work better as an ability for SCP-079. Essentially, it will allow him to spawn in an instance of 019-2 every two or so minutes to serve as back up for other SCPs (and possibly defend SCP-079 himself). SCP-019 would still be destroyable, and I think that the stats you provide for the 019-2s are good as well.

If 019 gets escorted it would also cause 019-2 to escape(its why i said similar to how able works).

because SH is guaranteed +1  

 

If 019 spawns in LCZ near d spawn like in 1123's or 205's chamber then  neutral as it would be nuisance for SH to escort.
