Hunting4r2d2 64 / 2,093 Report Post Posted March 30, 2019 As I am sure that many of you are aware, the Tau-5 recently had their Double Barrel Doom shotguns removed, and while I personally found them to be enjoyable, I can understand why they were cut. However, its replacement, the MAG-7, is fairly generic and does not fit well with an MTF that mostly uses advanced and experimental weaponry. With that being said, I believe I have found an alternative that may work much better: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=938918736 The Tau Cannon is essentially a highly accurate laser cannon with a moderate rate of fire, but high damage. Personally, I feel as though this weapon would serve as a better fit for the Tau-5 (they both even share Tau in the name), as well as provide them with something more unique to utilize. Doomnack 199 / 4,888 Report Post Posted March 31, 2019 Edited March 31, 2019 by Doomnack I really think this weapon suits Tau-5 more, as it's clearly more futuristically advanced to suit the NTF unit. It also holds up to the power that the Tau-5 gun should pack. It's not on TFA base, but at least it isn't horribly coded like the default breach guns (the old guns).
