Minecraft - Where to buy and status of server?

Hey there, I was wondering where I would go about purchasing a copy of MInecraft? Is it in the Microsoft store or is there a separate website I need to visit?

 

Also, while we're on the topic of Minecraft, how is the server doing? Is it inactive or active?

As for Minecraft, it sounds like to me that @Remuchu and the MC staff team are actively working on both Survival and Prison.

As of now our survival server is the only one open to the public, we are working on setting up a prison server which we hope to release next month!
