SCP-668 '13" Chef's Knife'

SCP-668's Article: http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-668

Description:

SCP-668 is a 13 inch chef's knife with a rosewood handle and full-tang construction, crafted at some point from the late 1930s to the early 1940s. When first acquired by field operatives, SCP-668 was in badly rusted condition, with heavy pitting from blood stains and other bodily fluids trapped in micro-crevices within the blade. Following thorough analysis, these irregularities were removed for aesthetic purposes. This has had negligible, if any, effect on SCP-668's special properties.

When carried by a human or humanoid entity with violent intent towards another human or humanoid entity, SCP-668 broadcasts a psychic signal that renders all sentient beings with a Psionic Resistance Index of 97 or lower incapable of assisting the victim.

It'd be much better if players either

1. Couldn't deal damage to 668 when hes attacking a player

or

2. Becomes, not invisible, but non-existent for others, like SCP-1471 is to non-infected.

Anyways this is kind of unique, because players would have to fight him on their own, instead of relying on numbers.

+1

You know, I was gonna' include this in my SCP ITEM SUGGESTION VOLUME III, but the browser crashed and I lost a few item suggestions, including this.

It was probably gonna be a rare weapon spawn, that when used on a player, both parties vanish from other players views.

This makes the victim completely helpless in a sort of way. Though both players can still take damage from crossfire, and after 15 seconds they become visible again.

What Mr Z said, but the whole 'knife drop' thing

is OP.

I'll +1 if you make it so that the knife glows, or has an outline, or makes itself extremely obvious.

NTF, MTF and C.I. are basically immune to SCP-668 since each of them have a stunstick and I'm pretty sure no one throws away their stunstick unless their swapping it with a crowbar, another melee weapon.

Class-D and Researchers are basically the only vulnerable one but they have the odds to find a stunstick or crowbar.

Plus if SCP-668 dies somewhere no one is going to check, SCP-668 is basically screwed.

So it's not guaranteed that SCP-668 will respawn.
