so, when you get disconnected from the server it automatically counts down from 40 seconds and then reconnects you

 

I have a wifi adapter that likes to have a stroke every ~30m and I'd like there to be a pause button on the countdown so that I have time to restart it

it's the computer itself, not the router.

try setting br_supresscrashnotification to 1 using the console
