1) 049 isnt on every round

2) theres usually no more than 5 049-2s

3) If 914 wasnt already open, 049-2 wouldnt want to spend the time to single handedly break down the gate

4) Most 049-2 just keep playing as an SCP and dont care about getting changed back

This is very small, but will be fun to play for the lucky one who manages to do this.

 

914 must be set to very fine.

 

A Class D enters SCP-914, and takes a first aid kit while they are being converted.

 

If they are in 914 while it is set to very fine, AND they are in the middle of the FAK timer, there is a 10% chance that the Class D will become a Class A. The other 90% will result in death. 

 

Once the Class A is in the round, they are on the researcher team, and the TRO MUST prioritize escorting the Class A. Similar to an 05. If gates are closed, TRO are required to open the gate for the Class A and escort them. The death of the Class A will greatly penalize the Foundation team, but the escorting of a Class A will greatly reward them, and most likely win them the round in the end.

 

There can only be one Class A  per round.

 

 

Edit: This might be very difficult to implement for @Duc2000 and @Cpt.Haxray due to coding experience. Hopefully a watered down version might be possible.

From My Experience, Its Pretty Easy To Escape As A Researcher With A Lvl 4 Or Lvl 5, Especially With The MTF Defending You. Its Basically Being A Researcher, YOU CAN LITERALLY BECOME CLASS A WITHOUT DEATH, ITS CALLED: GETTING A  LVL 5  FROM 914.  Its Not Much Like Being 05, Since You Don't Have Get Challenge The 05 Gets, You Don't Have A Buttload Of SCP's Rushing You.  Heres Basically Class A Gameplay:

1. Get Guns

2. Survive  SCP's And Other Stuff

3. Escape.

Basically Being  A Researcher With A 05.

4.We Don't Need D Class Suiciding, We Don't Need A Class That Already Exists, We Don't Need Class A.

its less about class A gameplay and more about getting a practically guaranteed escape since the TRO need to prioritize you. Thats why i compared it to the 05. TRO dont prioritize researchers, they just let them get their way out when someone happens to open the gate. A class A would shake up the round significantly, not to mention i dont think its really that likely that many class D will want to rush into 914 just to become class A, as the vast majority of them will just keep going towards HCZ/Basement.  Plus, by the time they get a level 3, they would want to just push forward. 

 

As for your example, i dont think 4 dead class D are gonna make the round that much different. if a bunch of D kill themselves and one happens to become class A, i feel like thats not that bad? if your argument is that its unlikely, thats kinda the point.

 

and about not needing a class that already exists. what the hell does that mean. Class A doesnt exist. If youre referring to 05, youre literally just contradicting yourself, and researchers dont have the prioritization of the TRO.

 

"you can literally become a class  A without death- get an 05 from 914" as a researcher, yeah. but researchers dont want to be class A. Researchers with 05 are their own thing. Only class D can become class A. Thats sorta the whole "upgrade."

Does Class A  Really Need To Be  Escorted By MTF?

It Sounds A lot Like A  Cakewalk Playing  As  Class A,

Its Not Like Playing As The 05 Where Theres 15 SCP's After You.

Hell, Ive Escaped As A  Researcher In The 10 Minute Mark With A Lvl 4 Card.

In 05 The RRH (Red Right Hand) Usually Don't Give Much Of A Fuck About The 05, Since There Usually  Busy Not Getting  Killed By SCP's.

I  Even Got RDM'd By  A RRH Unit When I Was About To Escape.

Stop comparing it to 05, you said yoursELF that theyre not anything alike. so stick by that.

OK so about that rule.

 

Its like all the teaming rules, researchers must team with TRO, TRO cannot team with D Class etc.

 

If TRO are busy killing class D, or SCPS, and a Class A exists, they MUST prioritize the A Class ASAP and get them out. Its basically a free ticket out as an A Class. (Addendum: Saying that made me change the likelyhood to 7.5% from 10%)

 

If TRO Escort class A succesfully, they get a shit ton of points that practically wins them the round. Alternatively, if the Class A dies, the TRO are greatly penalized. If they escape without escort, net point change is 0.

 

That allows for alot of strategy as a class D. You could GET yourself killed, which would give the round to the Class D/SCPs, or you could become an A class to distract TRO and help your former class D escape.

I suggest we try to find wacky weapons on the workshop that would make the game fun, but balanced for very fine instead of suggesting for there to be game breaking upgrades that will leave everyone arguing in the forums.

Simple 914 update:

 

Input: Radio

Setting: Fine

Output: Portable PA

 

Basically a one-use item. Allows you to speak over intercom regardless of location.
