Lowering default music volume/turning it off?

Basically wondering if its possible to lower the default music volume to like 10 or even turning it off so that new players dont go deaf when they join.

As well as zvolume, stopsound, and noshake.

I agree with you on that point. There has been many times where a leader will try to get the team to fall back or to call out boss attacks,

but since the default music is extremely loud at 100%. Many new players are unable to listen/take action.

 

On a personal note, I have always kept my volume between 10-30 and very rarely changing it to 100 to listen for specific timings. I am all for a default volume change!

Default MapMusic & zvolume have been lowered to 40%. Only applicable to new players.

thanks for the changes snowy, but could stopsound not also be changed? iirc thats also really loud when everyones grouped up and defending.

 

Maybe to silenced instead of un-silenced.

Silenced weapon sounds was already the default for new players long time ago.
