Event #186 -- HaRyDe & Headshooter Map Combo

Event Overview:

Hello everyone!

 

This was selected from our Nomination Megathread, which you can check (and nominate your own ideas) here! -- As a bit of shoe-horning, our nominations in this thread are starting to lack, which means it's a bit more difficult to start selecting nominations since a couple of them in there can often share maps that should be normally on cooldown, please take a moment to throw some ideas in there!

 

For this week, courtesy of CS:S's favorite willy wilson we'll be taking a look at a set of maps made by two very familar names in the ZE community, HaRyDe and Headshooter. As well as this, this event nomination includes a map that GFL has never beaten before (a heavily oriented teamwin map that doesn't have lazers and that looks quite pretty) so this should be quite a fun event!

 

This event nomination, as well as "Maps GFL hasn't beaten -- One Mapper Edition" was tied for top pick, so I put both nominations through Random.org to choose a winner at random, as you may have noticed, this event won.

• Saturday June 27th @ 5pm CDT

PLEASE REFER TO THE TIME LISTED IN THE STEAM GROUP AS THE ABSOLUTE TIME AT WHICH THE EVENT STARTS!

 

Notice:

• Events are scheduled in our Steam group, however, we also always announce over at our Discord server when the event begins.

Special Kickers:

• Secret ending must be won for Biohazard 3 before moving on.

VIP Rewards:

• Winners of one map will be receiving one week of V.I.P.!
• Winners of all three maps will be receiving two weeks of V.I.P.!

Rules:

• This event should be of a somewhat tryhard nature, please refrain from micspamming / using soundboards or mutes will be handled.
• Regular server rules will apply for this event as usual.
• Sitting in spec unless you're a spectating admin is not allowed.
• Time limits for each map:
  • Doorhug and solo will be played for 30 minutes maximum (or until a round is won).
  • Biohazard 3, being the "new map" in the event will be played for 180 minutes, provided people want any more extends after this a vote will be made.
  • Cosmo will be played for 120 minutes.
