This event was selected from our Nomination Megathread, which you can check (and nominate your own ideas) here! -- If you'd like to see your nominations appear in these threads make sure to drop your ideas in the thread linked above! For this week you may be looking at the name of the event right now and think to yourself "well damn, I wonder what this event is going to be", and the answer is quite simple. This event, although a bit tryhard, will be a relatively short one too, as we'll be playing the maps that truly started the "single texture laser" craze, Gris and Grau! For this event we'll be playing: ze_gris_fyk -- Download by clicking here! ze_grau_s2 -- Download by clicking here! Server IP: 92.119.148.14:27015 Time for the event: Saturday September 18th @ 5pm CDT To check at which time the event is for you, check this website to give you an idea. PLEASE REFER TO THE TIME LISTED IN THE STEAM GROUP AS THE ABSOLUTE TIME AT WHICH THE EVENT STARTS! Notice: Events are scheduled in our Steam group, however, we also always announce over at our Discord server when the event begins. Special Kickers: RTV stages in both maps will be played twice to give everyone a proper chance at trying them. This means RTV and RTV2 will be played twice on Gris. VIP Rewards: Winners of any one map will be receiving one week of V.I.P.! Winners of both will be receiving two weeks of V.I.P.! Winning an RTV stage also counts as you winning the final stage of a map! Rules: This event should be of a chill nature, tryharding can happen but it won't be as heavily enforced. Excessive micspam won't be allowed either though. Regular server rules will apply for this event as usual. Sitting in spec unless you're a spectating admin is not allowed.
