Zien 0 / 1,532 Report Post Posted November 2, 2016 So how do I host a lan server? I did look into AlliedModders but some guides are outdated
Dano 933 / 15,507 Report Post Posted November 2, 2016 You can simply install a dedicated server onto your PC. A tutorial (written out, not a video) can be found here: https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Counter-Strike:_Global_Offensive_Dedicated_Servers Here you can find how to install SourceMod (required for custom game modes): https://wiki.alliedmods.net/Installing_sourcemod Furthermore, you can find plugins for CS:GO servers here: https://forums.alliedmods.net/forumdisplay.php?f=
 Moltard 68 / 3,023 Report Post Posted November 2, 2016 Look for SteamCMD on the valve wiki, it's what you need to install a server on your computer. there are steps to follow to install it

Then put the plugins in the plugin folders in SourceMod and just play? Just like that? 1 hour ago, Link said: Look for SteamCMD on the valve wiki, it's what you need to install a server on your computer. there are steps to follow to install it Ok got it, it is listed in the csgo dedicated server wiki Edited November 2, 2016 by Zien

_Blu_ 13 / 2,752 Report Post Posted December 18, 2016 Edited December 19, 2016 by _Blu_ Sounds like you're almost there. Make sure sv_lan is set to 1 in your cfg/server.cfg while the server is running. Can't remember if this is default or not.
