Event #232 -- "Stick together and don't stop moving"

Event Overview:

Hello everyone! This event was selected from our Nomination Megathread, which you can check (and nominate your own ideas) here! -- If you'd like to see your nominations appear in these threads make sure to drop your ideas in the thread linked above!

 

For this week, as suggested by local saboteur William from Unloze we'll be tackling a rather unusual map combo. These maps are by no means new to GFL but they all share one thing in common, they are very teamwork oriented! Each one of these maps requires a good degree of teamwork and especially Silent Hill, which is a map that we haven't beaten since the map got a new update a while back, so while these maps may not be new we still have one which we haven't beaten!

• Saturday June 5th @ 4:00PM CDT.

PLEASE REFER TO THE TIME LISTED IN THE STEAM GROUP AS THE ABSOLUTE TIME AT WHICH THE EVENT STARTS!

Notice:

• Events are scheduled in our Steam group, however, we also always announce over at our Discord server when the event begins.

Special Kickers:

• Since Biohazard is a relatively easy map to beat, we'll play it until we beat it a second time provided we beat it on the first round. If map is not beaten within the first round (as people are joining for the event) then we'll only beat it once.
• We'll only play the last 3 stages of Ominous Rumors.
• We'll only play Bomb mode in Temple Raider.
• We'll try to win both Normal and Secret endings in Silent Hill .

VIP Rewards:

• This'll be a long event, so we'll be rewarding winners of two maps with one week of big V.I.P.
• Winners of all maps will win two weeks of big V.I.P.
  • Everyone else in the server the moment Silent Hill Secret is beaten will win one week of big V.I.P

Rules:

• This event will be of chill but also tryhard nature. When we get to Temple Raider and Silent Hill it'll be srs business tho.
• Regular server rules will apply for this event as usual.
• Sitting in spec unless you're a spectating admin is not allowed.
• Each map will be played for 60 minutes max. Silent Hill will be played for 180 minutes.
