Event #234 -- "Maps GFL hasn't beaten -- Rev up those balls Edition"

Event Overview:

Hello everyone! This event was selected from our Nomination Megathread, which you can check (and nominate your own ideas) here! -- If you'd like to see your nominations appear in these threads make sure to drop your ideas in the thread linked above!

 

For this week, as suggested by one's own self we'll attempt to beat two maps that have never been beaten on GFL before! One of these maps has existed in CS:S for a while now ported by xen, and while we've played it before we've never beaten the second stage of it which involves a bossfight, whereas the other map of this event is relatively new, has been attempted although not in an event but it also has never been beaten on GFL, very scary stuff!

 

Legend has it when the event ends there's some new maps to be tested, so be on the look out for that as well!

Notice:

• Events are scheduled in our Steam group, however, we also always announce over at our Discord server when the event begins.

Special Kickers:

• None for this event.

VIP Rewards:

• This'll be a long event, so we'll be rewarding winners of any one map with one week of big V.I.P.
• Winners of both maps will win two weeks of big V.I.P.

Rules:

• This event will be of chill but also tryhard nature. When we get to Temple Raider and Silent Hill it'll be srs business tho.
• Regular server rules will apply for this event as usual.
• Sitting in spec unless you're a spectating admin is not allowed.
• Each map will be played for 120 minutes. Any extra extends can be done through votes.
