What version of RSS Feed Reader are you running?
Have you also tried reinstalling the extension completely? May also be worth trying a RSS Feed Reader on another web browser such as Firefox (I'd assume they exist).
I'm not able to reproduce the issue on my end.
Thanks.

I've personally never messed with RSS Feeds. However, I just installed the Google Chrome RSS Feed Reader and had no issues subscribing to the Member Applications feed:

Could you try removing the RSS feed from the RSS Feed Reader and try again?
Thanks.

What JavaScript error are you receiving?
Thanks.

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to give a small update regarding our CS:GO division and what I will be personally working on from here.
Division Leader
As of right now, I'm currently the "division leader" of CS:GO. I believe we're off to a good start but I've been spending a lot of time into the division and it's honestly becoming exhausting due to the other responsibilities I have in GFL + IRL (e.g. work and traveling). I will be promoting an individual to Division Leader in the next week or so more than likely. We both will be taking care of the division along with building new servers (read below).
Surf Timer
Our CS:GO Surf Timer servers are nearly finished. I just need to finalize our UK server and we should be good to go. There are obviously additional improvements that can be performed from here, but for the most part, the servers are stable. The next steps are finding a good manager and building a laid-back admin team. I want these servers to have the highest performance (we will be buying a very powerful dedicated machine sometime in the future and will raise the slot count to 64 when done) and a laid back environment where people can just relax and surf.
1v1 Arena
I just wanted to say our 1v1 Arena server is off to a great start and I just wanted to say thank you to those who contributed to the server!
JailBreak
Jailbreak is the next server I want to focus on. I am going to follow up with @HackingPotato and see how the progress is going. Once the server is rebuilt, I will be going through to finalize everything and then we will be finding a manager. The manager + division leader(s) will be taking it on from here.
GFL Plugin Packs + My Own Plugins
I am currently making some adjustments to my plugin pack here. I will be rewriting the Server Ads and Server Hop plugins to support a RESTFUL API in the future. This is generally more secure and efficient in my opinion.
With that said, I will be creating a global plugin pack for our server managers to use in all games. I hope to link already existing Git repositories to this list as well to make things easier and ensure we have the latest updates to all plugins. This will make it so we can easily deploy a new server and download all the necessary GFL-specific plugins (e.g. the plugin pack listed above, SourceBans, etc.).
Danger Zone
I will be getting with @TOG to discuss what we can do with Danger Zone. As of right now, all Danger Zone community servers are completely dead, unfortunately. This game mode wasn't really made to support community servers in my opinion and when working on the community server we have for it, I ran into multiple issues and it doesn't seem smooth.
I'd give it a couple months because I still think custom maps and content are going to be made for this game mode for community servers. Hopefully Valve can give us some support as well.
Reddit Thread To Valve To Address Lack Of Support For Community Servers + Emails
I will also be making a third Reddit post to address the lack of support for community servers from Valve. The first and second Reddit threads can be found here and here. In the third attempt, I plan to address a server browser rebuild, the still-existing Linux limitation that is affecting our servers which was reported by myself here, and other things such as the client crashing issue since the new GUI update. I will also be sending Valve emails regarding this.
I will be most likely be doing this later this December while I'm at my family's house (from December 23rd to N/A). I'm going to try to get others to support this as I believe this is important to community servers as a whole.
Building New Servers
Once we have our current set of servers up and ready with a decent manager, I would like to start building new game modes on test servers we have. Once we are done with one game mode, we save it and move onto the next game mode. While these servers may not be released right away, I really like the idea of having something built ahead of time. This will ensure we're ready. I plan to work with the future division leader + a couple of players willing to test and give feedback to achieve this goal.
For example, if a big update is released in CS:GO where somehow Valve highly improves community servers and so on, I want to be ready to release any type of game mode. For the most part, other than small improvements, each game mode should be able to be built with one - two players testing. When we want to release the server, only minor adjustments should have to be made such as updating Sourcemod/Metamod, setting up the back-end (e.g. SourceBans entry, MySQL entry, etc.).
Game modes include:
- Bunny Hop
- TTT
- Surf RPG DM
- Decoy Dodgeball
- Zombie Mod
- Zombie Hunting
- MiniGames
- Casual CS:GO
- <others>
Again, this is just ensuring we're ready which is never a bad thing if done right.
Conclusion
There are a lot of things to do still. However, we're off to a great start! Once we get dedicated division leader, more things will start to get done
Thank you for your time.

cant remove knife send help
This has been fixed in the major update released last night for the US server.
Also, I have a suggestion. While using Influx's timer, there are two items tracked at the left-middle of the screen. These items are the stage count (or linear) and jump count. I personally feel the jump count is useless in Surf Timer. I'm not really sure how everyone else feels about this, though.
Thanks.

Do you think it'd be worthwhile exercising a little more patience in hopes for their supposed scheduled community server browser overhaul to come through? As per
https://twitter.com/basisspace/status/993683937862959105
I think this is exactly why we should make the thread as soon as possible so these concerns are out there for Valve to consider when making an overhaul.
Thanks.

Hi all,
I plan to make a Reddit thread for this topic before I make my detailed Reddit thread (third attempt,
). However, I just wanted to hear other's opinions from GFL first.
As of right now, I believe the in-game CS:GO server browser could use a lot of improvements. Excluding GUI and visibility improvements, I believe empty and password-protected servers should be hidden by default.
I explain why I feel this way here. I'd recommend giving that thread a read because it's the only reason I'm recommending this change.
So what do you all think? Should empty and password-protected servers be hidden by default in the in-game server browser for CS:GO?
Let me know what you think!
Thanks.

The in-game version should now work. With that said, I disabled all team-specific actions along with the MVP action.
Thanks.
-
It's unbelievable how broken this game still is even after basically taking two - three years away from CS:GO community servers.
My future Reddit post is going to be addressing dumb issues such as this.
Thanks.

Hi everyone,
I have installed the GameME plugin on the 1v1 server. Stats can be found here.
At the moment, the server is under the game CS:S. I have submitted a support ticket to get this changed to CS:GO. With that said, the in-game stats won't work until the server is restarted to enable RCON, etc.
On map change, the server should start logging to the daemon and statistics should be tracked.
Thanks.

Hi all,
I just wanted to address a couple issues with our CS:GO Surf Timer servers.
Global
Both servers are running on a machine that includes an Intel i7-4790K. These servers are also running on Linux. Due to the CS:GO Linux limitation I reported and explained here along with the i7-4790K, these servers are experiencing poor performance at > 40 players at 85 tick. I also don't want to switch to Windows because our control panel isn't supported on there and I absolutely hate Windows for game servers. With that said, after discussion, I've concluded we should stay at 85 tick.
An 85-tick 64-player server will eat a lot of CPU. This is why we're struggling now regarding performance.
Both of our hosting providers offer very high-end machines. With the UK hosting provider, we have the ability to request a custom quote. The US also offers strong builds.
In the US, we have the choice of picking a machine that includes an Intel i7-9700K overclocked to 5.1 GHz (8 cores). This is considered overkill even with the Linux limitation. However, my only issue is we don't really need the 8 cores at this moment. This machine may be setting us up for the future once we start setting up more servers including GMod Purge and other CS:GO servers.
In the meantime, I believe I'm going to cap the visible maxplayers on both servers to 46. Once we setup a new powerful machine, I will be sure to set the visible maxplayers back to 64 and we should be able to handle 64 players at 85 tick without any issues.
US
Firstly, I just wanted to say we got to 54 players earlier (51 in screenshot):

Unfortunately, a bug on the server caused 1/2 of the clients to crash while we were at 50+ players. I believe this issue has to do with the current timer which is why we will most likely be switching to Influx's timer soon on the US server (UK already has this timer). I'm not sure why the issue occurred and things were fine for hours. There were no map changes (we were playing surf_kitsune), everybody just started timing out. I just wanted to apologize for the inconvenience.
All in all, I'm really happy to see the server doing so well and it isn't even officially launched yet.
I want performance to be our top priority which is why I'm going to be looking into purchasing a high-end machine. The machine would probably be setup after the holidays. In the meantime, we can stick to 46 players and continue building the server up for official launch.
Thank you!

Hey everyone,
I just wanted to notify everybody that we will be shutting down our Battlefield 4 division. @Worgee and I talked about this a couple days ago.
Unfortunately, we are spending too much money into the division. We are currently spending $82.00/m towards the division which includes the VPS itself and the BF4 slot fees. We also haven't received many donations from this division.
With our CS:GO division being revamped, it is currently looking like we're going to be purchasing a high-end machine sometime in the near future which will be quite expensive depending on the type of machine we get.
There is a possibility we will open the division in the future. However, we will definitely need a different approach to it.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reply. I just wanted to say thank you to the users who contributed to the division either by managing the servers, blocking hackers, or just playing the servers.
Thank you.

This thread is used for any suggestions on our CS:GO Surf Timer servers.

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to post a link to the announcement I just submitted on our CS:GO Steam group.

This includes more details about our new Surf Timer servers.

QuoteHi everyone,
I just wanted to post a quick announcement to this Steam group since it's dedicated to GFL's CS:GO division.
GFL's CS:GO Division
GFL's CS:GO division is being completely revamped by iTaco and myself. ITaco is going to be helping me along with a couple others. The new/improved servers we are introducing include:
- 1v1 Arena - 208.103.169.72:27017
- Danger Zone - 208.103.169.72:27018
- Jailbreak - N/A
- Surf Timer Beginner - (US) 208.103.169.72:27016 (UK) 185.177.22.161:27015
A more official and detailed announcement will be released in the near future when these servers are ready for official launch.
Surf Timer
Our Surf Timer servers were released unofficially last night (US-time). They are in working condition and have admins currently zoning maps. The US server is currently running Zipcore's timer and the UK server is currently running Influx's timer. We did this because we want to see what our players think of both and which one we should go with on official launch. As of right now, we are most likely going to move to Influx's timer for the US server since it's newer, updated more frequently, and comes with more features.
When we released both servers without announcing anything officially, both servers filled to 24+ players the first day. I believe this is a great start!
I do not want these servers to be overcomplicated to players and I want simplicity to be a priority on these servers along with keeping the best performance possible. This will be my main goal within these servers. Ensuring we have a simple server with smooth/working plugins and a working timer along with a laid-back community. I am confident in the admin team and I believe they'll ensure everything is laid-back, etc.
More information on the Surf Timer servers themselves can be found in their sub-forum on the website here - https://gflclan.com/forums/forum/840-surf-timer/
Once the servers are officially launched, we will be making events for both servers on our main Steam groups along with announcing it everywhere we can. The more exposure these servers get, the better.
The In-Game Server Browser
I plan to make another CS:GO Reddit thread in the future addressing the lack of support for community servers. I've done this two times already and both threads got to the #1 spot on the /r/GlobalOffensive Reddit. With CS:GO going free-to-play, it has sparked my interested to do this again. In this thread, I want to shift focus to the broken in-game server browser. It's no wonder most community servers don't get any exposure in the server browser including our servers.
Please read this thread -
If you have feedback on it, please let me know!
Thank you for reading!
Thank you!

@Roy there are people who are in the loop about this server. I have it on favorite because WE ARE ALL WAITING TO PLAY SURF. Love ya.
The server is running a new location & IP though O.o. You added the server that fast lmao?
The funny thing is the server isn't done yet. I was going to set a password again but everyone wanted it unlocked lol.
Working on it actively, though. We have admins who are going to be zoning maps.
I think we're going to be switching to Influx's timer which is on UK right now and working well. I believe it's better than Zipcore's timer in our case and has more features.
Thanks.

No clue man. That guy in the pic is so bad.

Oh boy, talking about Dan.
I do see a lot of potential in him. There's no doubt he loves the 1v1 server and he is VERY active/dedicated. When I was on the server, I see him helping others and trying to recruit people in the community itself. He also invites as many people as he can to the game. This is the type of stuff I like to see and I hope our server admins can start doing it more often.
While these are great things, he also acts VERY toxic and it ruins all that potential in my opinion. The toxic behavior and shitty attitude (cons) outweighs the pros. I personally don't mind if he has server admin, but server manager, hell no. For now, anyways.
All in all, I'm not going to go into detail about this. It's saddening seeing all the potential he has go to waste because of stupid shit.
@rapperdan If you stop acting toxic and improve your behavior, you'll be considered in the future. Whether this will ever happen with you? I have no clue. I tried explaining it to you a year or so ago in PMs but you don't understand. Hell, if you weren't so toxic, I guarantee you would have been manager for 1 - 2 years now already.
I unblocked you on Discord if you want to add me and talk about it. But if you continue saying shit that makes no sense whatsoever and acting toxic, I'm going to block you again (only person I had blocked xd).
Anyways, I agree with @JGuary551, the 1v1 Arena server will definitely need a lot more administration since CS:GO went free-to-play. When I went on the server the other day, 5 - 10 people joined and 2 out of those 5 - 10 were using aimbot.
Update on Jailbreak, it is being rebuilt. Manager is not decided yet. @HackingPotato is building the server-side related things (she is not going to be managing the server, though). I will go through to make sure everything is clean, etc. It is almost done, though.
I started working on Surf Timer and it is making progress. Going to get with @iTaco and see what else needs to be done. (thank you for the help testing, @Cloud_).
Thanks.

[CS:GO] What's Next?

This is something I plan to do in the future once the division starts kicking off.
Our Danger Zone server is public. However, there are no popular Danger Zone community servers and the game mode itself is a little bit buggy for community servers. The game mode was made to have 18 players queue up before the match begins. This is why it worked perfectly for Valve servers.
Thanks.
