  1. I talked to @balon two days ago and he brought up he was having the same issue with the Steam Integration application in Tango (we use the same application). Unfortunately, this is a complex issue and is due to Steam changing their Restful API.

I plan on looking into the issue and hopefully fixing it after we upgrade IPS 4. However, upgrading IPS 4 is a big project itself due to us having to reinstall the Steam Login application and possibly losing Discord integration:

I am aware of the issue and these are all on my to-do list to fix but as long as people can link their Steam accounts without issues, it isn't critical at the moment. I hope to get it fixed in the next couple weeks.

    Thanks.

  2. I would also like to mention that I am upgrading our machine in Montreal, Canada (where the CS:S ZE server will be hosted). We will be setting up the MC-64-OC dedicated server from OVH which includes the Intel i7-7700K overclocked to 4.7 GHz (5.0 GHz turbo)! You can follow the machine's setup progress here. This will be an upgrade to CS:S ZE since its current machine contains the Intel i7-4790K I believe.

I would like to welcome all the members from .RU!

I will be making a more detailed post at some point today or tomorrow.

    Thanks!

  3. I would like to bump this idea.

I propose something too, add a system in all servers that gives member+ an advantage in the game that non-members have. This in my opinion would push more people to become member (as it stands, in TTT the only thing members can do is buy TTT passes every 7 rounds). Maybe also give members more points for playing on the server, or being able to bet more. I'm talking TTT-wise, but implement something like this in every server.

Worst case, you can try it out in a server that has a decent amount of non-members in it, and see what happens.

Edit: wouldn't be p2w because member rank is free

We used to do something like this. I thought we still were. I remember we made it so Pointshop or Store (for SM servers) were only accessible by Members or above. With that said, I think we had a member skin on our CS:GO servers long ago. These features brought a lot of players to the website and applying for member.

    Thanks!

@Roy I'm really happy with the results. Squad will definitely become a strong division.

I am as well :) We haven't had a server fill up that high in years. I'm surprised we reached 80 on the SECOND day of trying to populate the server.

I believe this division will be strong as long as we recruit and stick to it. That upgraded machine will help a lot :)

    Thanks!

  5. Hello,

One of our NFO machines is down at the moment. NFO is currently working to resolve this issue.

I will reply to this thread once I have an update.

    I apologize for this inconvenience.

    Thank you for understanding.

  6. I've wanted to make the projects tab more visible to the public (e.g. moving it to its own main tab for example). However, I still think the projects system needs more work done (e.g. more features implemented, etc.). So I wanted to work on that first.

    Thanks.

    • Fixed the server crashing when a player loads into the server.

    * The AFK Manager plugin was causing the server crashing for some reason. This happened after the most recent game update. We will investigate this.

    Thanks.

  8. Hey @Hernandez,

Per our Discord call, you were receiving this error in the wings.log file:

    Quote

    {"name":"wings","hostname":"test","pid":32750,"server":"xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxx-xxxxx","level":40,"msg":"Container was not found. Attempting to recreate it.","time":"2018-07-26T01:03:32.506Z","v":0}
    {"name":"wings","hostname":"test","pid":32750,"level":30,"msg":"Checking if we need to update image quay.io/pterodactyl/core:gamma, if so it will happen now.","time":"2018-07-26T01:03:32.508Z","v":0}

Therefore, we ended up installing my Docker image with the Docker pull command here:

    docker pull gamemann/gflse

After this was done, we also restarted the Wings daemon:

    systemctl restart wings

Finally, we started the CS 1.6 installation again.  The first time, there was a SteamCMD error. This error is common for CS 1.6 installations and the solution was triggering the installation again by going to the Manage tab and clicking the Reinstall Server button. Afterwards, it installed correctly and all the files were there.

Unfortunately, your control panel started spitting out an error regarding the daemon's connection:

There was an error attempting to establish a WebSocket connection to the Daemon. This panel will not work as expected.

    Error: xhr poll error

I have checked your wings.log file and saw no critical errors. The Wings daemon is actively running without any issues. I am unsure what could be causing this. I would suggest checking any log files on your web server hosting the control panel. I believe the problem lies there.

I would also suggest deleting the first two servers that are stuck on the "Installation" status. And any future servers created should have an allocated memory value of above 0. I believe this may cause issues otherwise.

You said you are going to contact Pterodactyl's support team. Please let me know how this goes! My stomach became upset (due to my surgery recovery) so I cannot investigate anything right now. Though, once I'm feeling better, if you haven't figured out the issue, I can investigate again.

I apologize for this inconvenience and I hope I helped a bit at least!

    Thanks!

Hi again @Roy i don't have any log file or folder in

    /srv/daemon/config/servers/

    Hey @Hernandez,

    Do you have anything in:

    /srv/daemon/logs

If so, could you provide the contents of the log files here? If these logs contain sensitive information, feel free to PM me them.

If you'd like, you may also add me on Discord (Roy#6777). We may be able to get it resolved sooner with live chat.

    Thanks!

  10. Do you still have to buy the game? I wouldn't mind playing COOP expert. Though, I feel the Hard Rain campaign is nearly impossible on that difficulty, haha. But that's because I have a hard time not disturbing the witches lol.

    Regarding GFL Servers

Currently, @Runda is working on setting up a custom L4D2 server. It will be a 20+ slots COOP server on expert. It honestly sounds fun.

I've tried setting up a stock server as well, but that unfortunately was unsuccessful. Though, I may give it another try in the future and ensure I open the match-making ports correctly.

    Thanks!

Hi @Roy, when i use your Half-Life GoldSrc image for a CS 1.6 server installation it remains permanently in "Installing"

    Any solution?

    Hi @Hernandez,

I would need you to provide the server's installation log. To do this, go to the AdminCP through Pterodactyl, click on the Servers tab, and select your server.

On the About tab, copy the UUID / Docker Container ID value.

On the Linux machine running the Pterodactyl daemon, copy the contents of the following file to here:

    /srv/daemon/config/servers/<UUID/Docker Container ID>/install.log

If it looks like SteamCMD successfully installed everything, you may try going to the Manage tab on the server in the AdminCP and clicking the Toggle Install Status button.

    lt-50-07-25-2018-1316.png

I hope this helps! Please post the contents of the installation log if you can!

    Thanks!

  12. We recently received a server license so we can be on the official server list.

We plan on having one server in Europe (server is already up) and one server in the United States. Both will be 80 slots. If they populate, we will definitely set up more!

I will be officially announcing this division once we have an admin team and the manager is announced.

You can find a list of Squad servers here. If you'd like to help out, please play and idle on the server. I'm sure it'll start filling up if you do so!

    Thanks!
