Personally I am ok with an ungag/unmute given the time, as well as that at least in the infractions the consequences don't indicate like a sort of "history of that behavior". This being a notion of you getting a consequence, getting forgiven and then breaking the rules again. I would say ungag/unmute, but I want input from the other senior and also Wuffy.
-
I would like Wuffy's input on this, given that he gave the perma-mutes and if he remembers he may have a relevant comment on this appeal. However, given that the perma mute(as well as a oerma gag) last occured in 2019(albeit I apparently gave a temp warn in early 2021 which may have been when warns weren't working idk), I am inclined towards an unmute. Although I would like further input from other admins.
-
I tried to check gflbans for any warn by copy pasting both your name and posted SteamID and got no results. You might've posted it incorrectly or maybe something is going wrong on my end, however if I were to make a judgement of being OK with undoing a given ban I would need access to your warns and whatnot.

I checked gflbans for information regarding the name you presented "ShtickeyFingaz"(copy and pasted it) and I see no infractions regarding that specific name. When I put in the id presented, I don't see any associated permaban with Wuffy, but only a perma mute/gag from Wuffy. AKA, either Wuffy wasn't the admin that perma banned you and it was just an automatic system ban, you put in the wrong name "ShtickeyFingaz" as the alt, or there is something else I am not getting.
Now I am not completely knowledgeable about this, but if there is an alt there may be a chance that even if we hypothetically unbanned this specific account that due to there being some connection it would base a future reban on it.(I may be completely wrong about this I don't know)
If it's essentially a security breach on accident from last year, presumably you would recognize why this error came up(because something on your end would've caused it, some program you have or whatever) and presumably if you were to not have changed it you would just be automatically rebanned again if you were to get back on. That's why I currently have a perspective of being lenient due to the amount of time that has passed and my current perspective on the issue, and I would be inclined for an unban. However I think I need input from other admins for there to be an appropriate call.
EDIT:Seems like the ID probably relates to the Wuffy ban was 76561199014079811 which was a ban in 2020. It doesn't have that name that was posted by Deltacash of "ShtickeyFingaz", but it is a permaban still up by Wuffy so I believe this is it. I still have my position of being inclined towards an unban due to time related reasons mostly(though my security judgement is changed).

Me and mbs have decided not to ungag/unmute due to it being a timed mute/gag, as well as it seeming based on your posts that you were trying to test the waters with what you could get away with in terms of voice or chat. If you want to know if a given word used in voice or chat is against the rules you should ask admins or consult the motd.
-
Yes, we would like to know what the alt is so we know the associated warns with that alt, and based on the alt and warns we will make a decision.
-
Me and the other senior have decided to unmute due to the length of the mute given. I assume you know that mic spamming is against the rules, so I expect you won't do it again. Thank You.
-
I lean towards unmute with a watchful eye due to the mute associated with steam ID being 2 years ago. I don't have a judgement regarding being "matured since" as I haven't seen you on gfl to see your conduct recently, and as a result it is simply a lean.
-
I am checking current infractions for your SteamID, and it says that for the "alayasIS_COOL" name, the mute is expired, and the other name associated with that SteamID "TC1_Blade" has 18 more minutes remaining. These were temporary mutes, where the time only goes down if you are in the server "waiting out" the punishment, so if you just wait the in game 18 minutes it SHOULD be undone.
-
Due to it being a threat rather than an attempt, as well as me being relatively convinced you are sorry and are unlikely to do so makes me think it'd be OK with an unban under strict warning for the future. I say strict warning specifically because based on this post it slightly implies you know how to ddos, which is a bit problematic, but I feel a bit lenient. Especially since Kaylode also thinks you should be unbanned.
-
Me and the other senior have judged that you should be unbanned, though you should try to make sure in the future that you don't have cheats on.

My opinion is that the videos indicate unnatural degrees of bhopping. I wouldn't be able to bhop up a slope like that, so what I can say is that it is at least relatively suspect. It may be that he was using the sprint jump trick where you don't bhop but sprint and jump and let go of sprint to save the sprint meter which mimics bhopping, and then subsequently going into a consistent 3 bhops at the top. I don't think it is quite enough for a sufficient judgement on scripting, but just some evidence of some odd bhopping.
EDIT:Adding in that I am choosing to unban due to insufficient evidence.
-
Given that the type of cheat was one that was cause an instant permaban via the system, I assume that if we were to unban and you were to come back on the server with said cheats that the same punishment would apply.(I may be wrong that this is how it works, so if someone more informed understands this I would appreciate a correction). As a result, I would be fine with an unban given the current information, however we should have other admins inputs as well before a decision is made.

I am skeptical of your reasoning given that you spammed like 5 different appeals with slight adjustments, which CAN be justified in a weird sort of way of making slight mistakes that you wanted to make perfect, but like the reason for the mute was based on a history of this type of spamming conduct and when I did give the consequence I did give chances. I wouldn't have too much of a problem with an unmute if other admins decided on it, but I don't have a position towards it. More or less neutral leading towards negative.
-
I'm essentially neutral leading towards not, because the lack of effort and the "lol" indicates this isn't a serious post that would indicate you learned your lesson.

Looking at current gfl ban history, I don't know why you would get permabanned for "punishment evasion". Based on your comments it seems like it would be respect to another gfl server other than hns(maybe), and given this information I would say I would pro unbanning. We would need more people to give their input though for a final evaluation.
-
I will +1 for an unban as well, however I have a feeling like I have seen this happen before with other's doing a "joke anti cheat test" without consulting admins if they are allowed to do it, and even if this is irrational I am increasingly becoming suspect of this excuse. But at least right now I am fine with an unban given that it doesn't happen again.
-
I would personally be fine with an unban for discord, because I believe you recognize that such conduct isn't accepted by the server and are unlikely to do it again.
-
Based on my understanding of this the problem's lie with when Littleshake was an admin, and the same type of rule violation can't really occur without being repromoted.
As a result I definitely agree with an unban from being able to use gfl, because the ability to engage with the community doesn't bring about the same consequences. The only hypothetical thing would be if Littleshake somehow convinced a current admin to do the same thing they did, but that'd be more on the hypothetical newer admin than her responsibility.
Basically I agree with an unban, but this should be factored in for any future admin applications Littleshake may or may not have, because this was a big violation of server trust.

I am nuetral on this personally. I don't have the best of memory but I trust Wuffy when he says there were a multitude of warns on the old system. On the new system I see one unrelated to this, so I assume this consequence was before the new system, or there is some information I am not getting. I don't have much of an opinion other than this, though I do agree with Wuffy that this seems relatively low effort.
-
I don't have any personal knowledge of what happened and given that Wuffy gave the consequence and is fine with an unban, that's all I need to be fine with an unban.

Hanson's HNS Mute/Ban Appeal

I don't see any infractions related to that SteamID on gflbans. Are you sure you posted the correct Steam Id?
