I guess that it's worth saying here that one thing that I want to push for is having weekly/monthly community meetings in teamspeak so everyone's on the same page of things that are being updated, members/admins have the opportunity to have serious discussion about problems that need to be fixed (if it's anything too controversial like admin abuse then that'll have to be done in private), and a place where members can make suggestions of things they want to see implemented.

In addition to that, I also want to push for a general "office hours" kind of thing where higher ups spend 1 hour a week in a public teamspeak channel where they can be talked to 1-on-1. This should help with the problem of higher ups hiding out in a private teamspeak channel all day.

A community one of my old friends used to be apart of did weekly/monthly Q&A's with some of Higher Ups in that community. Everybody interested would get into a public channel with a talk power requirement, so whenever someone wanted to ask a question, they would get talk power and could ask freely. It seemed like it worked out really well, stuff that was suggested got implemented (from what I was told by said friend; I never actually joined for one of these, nor did I have any interest in that community).

  2. I have to admit, with my time spent in the GMOD division, I can agree with a lot of the points made. Changes happen extremely slowly in the division, unless they're forced/rushed. Along with, admins of one server "like" (I use that term loosely, not necessarily because they actually like it, but because it is done often) to trash talk admins of another server, or other servers in general (seems like the majority of the admins that do this happen to come from Purge, but that's just what I've noticed).

The GMOD division just isn't what it was a year or two back. Can't wait to see the outcome after all the changes that are coming, though!

    it better be good. :lenny:

Decided to take a picture while I was out walking my dog today, cause why not? The path looks nice, and it really it nice to walk down that time of day (around 4PM). The trees block most of the sunlight, and it looks cool if you take a photo of the sun through the trees.

And by the way, that shirt is soft as hell.

***NOTE*** I do not actually have butterflies flying in my hair.

I agree with this. Though I do not seem to find a suitable way to reward CT's... Perhaps add a !store for CT's which includes some nice gadgets such as X-Ray Vision for 30(or any other ammount) seconds(in order to spot rebellers), and uhm add some restricted guns such as Negev which can only be bought with Credits. Just some ideas.

That wouldn't be a bad idea, maybe extra health/armor in the store, weapons, etc. Things like that. Maybe something a CT can buy that would counter the Invisibility (I'm not sure if the Tactical Awareness grenade always shows their outline, but if so then it wouldn't be necessary).

Can you guess which person enjoys working at a Starbucks in a Target?

The pumpkin spice latte with soy life is real.

    Last day today though :(

You get to smell the coffee AND the infamous Target popcorn...

  6. It could have to do with the fact that a lot of other Surf servers break Valve's Community guidelines and use plugins that they aren't supposed to, but receive no punishment. Now, I'm not sure what the situation is about the manager and/or staff for the server, but if I had to bet, the banned plugins have a lot to do with it.

It could also simply be because school is starting, about the inactive admins.

  7. "so uh, i found this new website"

But anyways, I found this website from a YouTube video called Jukedeck. Basically, it lets you create music, without having to do any work! You choose the type of music, the mood of the song, the length, and (if you want there to be one), when the climax is.

There's a few extra options that you can see at the top (Instruments and Tempo), which can give a little bit of variety to what it'll sound like.

The songs won't have any vocals to them (obviously), so you can use it as background music if you're playing a game or something, and don't want to get distracted over the song.

I dunno, I thought it was a cool site and thought some people would probably be interested in it.
