    You will be able to hear DJs and use the movie theater on purge. Jukebox will work on other servers too.

    CEF (Chromium) ships with GMOD when the chromium branch is enabled,  no third party software is required (if you're referring to https://www.chromium.org/).

    I mean no disrespect, however I must inform you that you are unable to enforce any sort of copyright here because of the licensing requirements imposed on all derivative works of the SCP Wiki. SCP Containment Breach (Which the map appears to use textures from), and Site 19 (which this map definitely uses textures from).     

     

    This would cause your map to inherit the CC-BY-SA license that all of these works share, which in short, allows anybody to use and adapt the map so long as they also distribute the map under the same license. You can find the license here: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/

     

    So while we will probably end up using the map, we will not be uploading it to the workshop and will add the attribution(s) that are required under the terms of the creative commons license (probably in the form of an attribution text somewhere inside of the map itself).

     

    If you do not wish for other communities to use this map, then I seriously would advise having your mapper remove it from the workshop (I am assuming you signed a contract in which this is stated as a condition, if not, there is probably nothing that you can do). Otherwise, please refer to https://wiki.garrysmod.com/page/Steam_Workshop_Rules, specifically the last bullet of the "Our Rules" heading.

  6. Partially resolved, will be working on a fix for the !say command soon, but everything else should be working fine. If there are any issues (with the exception of !say, I know about that), let me know.

  7. Small update:

     

    - made some progress with optimization, moved a lot of stuff to detail and added func_visclusters in other areas. Map should run fairly well on most computers, though I don't have a spare potato on hand to test it with

    - Removed the whole rp town, going to put something else there instead, maybe helipads? Probably something that will be used as an escape point, the escort point will be earlier on

    - Moved d class cells from hcz to what is going to be lcz, I split the top bit (basically giant ez) into two parts, half of it will become office space and lcz and the other half will be the entrance zone.

    - fixed up some things, removed clutter from some of the rooms in the interest of movement

     

    Things that I plan on doing:

     

    LCZ, includes moving 173 CC to lcz, other cc for object scps and certain scps moved up

     

    Less linear hcz, want two ways to get from lcz to hcz and two ways to get from hcz to ez, I don't really want players to go from lcz to ez (following the trends we see on other maps).

     

    Need a few more CCs in hcz

     

    Doors are brushes and look extremely bad, want to replace most of them with models (or proper brush work)

     

    914 and/or 1162

    Imported a few of the field code symbols into GIMP as symbols to represent the cognitohazard. Each one has it's own meaning, so I'm debating between this and having a slightly different implementation:

     

    • Each hazard has its own special effect
    • Each hazard has its own method of avoiding / reducing severity of effects
    • Each hazard may only be activated by a given player once
    • An effect is despawned if 3 people are effected by it or 1 - 2 minutes pass

    Do not look away: If this cognitohazard is activated by the player, they must maintain eye contact for a given amount of seconds (maybe 10), failure to do so will result in damage and burning (proportional to how many seconds you had left, so 1 second remaining would only do a little bit of damage while 10 seconds left might kill the player)

    Unsafe place

    Player must get a sufficient distance away from the hazard upon activating it to avoid its effects.

    Do not make physical contact

    Player affected by this will explode if they come into contact with another player. This kills the player and does a small (not enough to kill usually) amount of splash damage.

    well thats the one banned from our community and guessing by the VAC, I'd assume you did hack on GFL servers, correct?
