  1. Hello,

Thank you for sending in this report! The admin team is currently reviewing the demo that you've uploaded. Further responses to the thread will come as soon as internal decisions are made.

Theres something called a warning which i think its something people dont use on the server or something.

Now there was a lot of people who was micspaming BEFORE u mute me, so maybe or: u are not doing the things right or i just got unlucky that for trying to lead and raise my voice a little over all the zombies in front of us was enough to "trigger you".

And the other thing u actually mute me for 30m and for somereason u change that and make it 60,would like explain on that.

Before I discuss this further, I'd like to direct you to your mutes and gags history on SourceBans (https://sourcebans.gflclan.com/index.php?p=commslist&searchText=STEAM_1:0:92076890&Submit). If you take a look at it, you'll notice that you had multiple mutes and gags prior to being muted and gagged on the server by me. Generally as administrators we go by: warn -> FIRST mute -> etc. Warning a user after the user's first mute has already been given is at the discretion of the administrator, and I didn't feel as if another warning was warranted, seeing that you have multiple mutes and gags on SourceBans. Anyways, to reply to your second point, I try to not be a complete nazi as an administrator. When I can see that users are having fun on the server, I allow them to have fun AS LONG AS it doesn't begin to get out of hand. Towards the end of the round, you and another user started to get extremely loud over the microphone (Due to excitement, if I had to guess), and I drew the line there. In my opinion, you didn't just simply raise your voice, but you were excessively loud over the microphone. I am not triggered by single instances of breaking the rules, I just felt as if the players were starting to rowdy, so I chose to begin muting people.

Lastly, I changed your original 30 minute mute to a 60 minute mute as you have multiple mutes and gags on SourceBans (I posted a link to it at the beginning of this post if you missed it). Mutes and gags on the server stack. As a player accumulates more mutes and gags, the administrators are required to increase the duration of each sequential mute and/or gag on the server. If you want me to explain it further, you'll notice that your last mute prior to the 60 minutes and removed 30 minutes one was a 30 minute mute by me. Due to this, I am required to stack your mute time to 60 minutes.

If you have any more things that you'd like for me to clarify, please don't hesitate to post more on this thread.

  3. Hello I was the administrator who muted you, "pipimi" is my current steam name. Anyways, to start things off, you were muted for being excessively loud over the microphone towards the end of a round. Leading is not a mutable offence AS LONG AS it adheres to the rules of the server. One of the rules mentioned in the MOTD post (Which you can find in one of the stickied posts in the ZE section of the forums), is: "No mic/chat spamming or excessive yelling,". Moving on, just because all the other users were requesting that you be unmuted, DOES NOT warrant an unmute from an administrator. Finally, to address your last point, I gagged you for 60 minutes in the chat after requesting that you make an appeal on the forums regarding your mute instead of complaining in the chat. After noticing that you wouldn't leave the issue alone, I checked your sourcebans and noticed that you had a previous 30 minute gag, and decided to gag you for 60 minutes.

Free speech is a right that you have, but please be aware that the rules still apply to you as a player.

  4. DISCLAIMER:

    Final vote.

    Vote:   -1

Feedback: Your HLStats page (https://stats.gflclan.com/hlstats.php?mode=playerinfo&player=2535605) shows that you have 3 hours and 46 minutes logged on the server. The minimum amount of hours required for an admin application is 100 hours. Aside from this, I've never interacted with you so I don't know anything about your personality. I would suggest that you take time to integrate into our community more, talk to more people, and also log more hours on the server before applying again. If you plan on applying again in the future, please space out the time between your applications, I recommend waiting about a month at least before applying again (assuming that you have hit the minimum requirements by then).

  5. DISCLAIMER:

The vote that I give the applicant is not final, and is subject to change depending on whether the applicant displays improvements or not.

    Vote:   -1

Feedback: I personally feel that you aren't really active enough for the admin position. Due to this, I'm going to have to shift my vote to -1.

    TLDR is at the bottom.

    Vote:    Neutral leaning to +1

Feedback: You are one of the more mature players that I've seen on the server. I feel that you would be a great addition to the admin team because I know that you have a good amount of experience in this game mode, you are one of the members of our community who don't contribute to the cancerous aspects of it, and also because you are extremely calm most of the time, even when the server is at the peak of it's more cancerous hours. Since you are able to stay cool and collected in those situations, I believe that it would carry over well to an admin position because you would be able to make decisions fairly, without being influenced by emotions and/or bias. Aside from this, your activity is great, and you're in the EU timezone, which is even better. Having said that, the only thing I'd like to see you improve on is your communication with admins. If you keep things the way they are, and communicate with us more, I'll change my vote to a full +1.

Well, this thread has been created for 2 weeks and it seems that you've been monitoring my activity and you've waited till my activity dropped to point it out, how would I amass ~185 hours if I'm only online 2 hours a week?

The way this comment is phrased makes it seem as if I am out to -1 you in some way. Keep in mind that all the feedback I give, if I ever do give feedback, is purely to help the applicant by telling them what they need to improve on. I pointed out the 2 hours in the last week because activity is important for admins when monitoring applicants. As said before, we need to see more of you around so that we can form opinions of you. Most of the time, we may not have opinions of applicants before they apply, and only start to form these opinions after the applicants apply. Which is why activity after the applicant applies is extremely important. So rather than making a comment like this, where you feel as if I am trying to pull a reason to give you a negative vote, I would suggest taking the feedback that I give and using it to try and improve yourself.

    (EDIT 1/20/2018: Fixed a sentence)

Feedback: I can't really provide much feedback for you, as you're not really on the server much. Looking at your game tracker (https://www.gametracker.com/player/Tiberius/216.52.148.47:27015/), I can see that over the past week, you've only been on for about 2+ hours. Due to the weakness of your activity on the server, it's hard for me to form an opinion on you and help you out via feedback. If you want to work towards the admin position, the first thing I would focus on is becoming more active on the server so that admins can form their opinions on you and provide feedback.

  9. DISCLAIMER:

    Final vote for this application.

    Vote:   -1

Feedback: This application doesn't seem serious in any way whatsoever. I would advise you to take more time to actually add content and depth to your admin application in the future if you are seriously set on attempting to join the admin team. Bare-bones applications like this imply that you are either extremely lazy, or not seriously applying for an admin position, which are two things that we aren't looking for in applicants. Now, if you don't really intend on joining the admin team and just made this application for fun, please refrain from posting troll applications.

Feedback: I agree with Vauff's reply to this application. Since he's covered most of the points; if not all of them, I will be leaving my feedback extremely bare bones. As a person right now, with regards to your maturity and mindset, you are FAR from admin material. I have watched your growth as a player, and although you are a relatively knowledgeable ZE player nowadays, it is completely overshadowed by the fact that I have seen little to no improvements in the more IMPORTANT qualities that we are looking for in admin applicants. Due to this, I will be keeping my vote the same for the foreseeable future, until I see a complete reform on your side.

you can, instead of sm, you can replace ! with /

bind (key) 'say /bizon' that way it wont flood the chat

"sm_" prevents it from flooding the chat as it is just sent in the console.

Feedback: I'd like to give you a chance. The communication has improved slightly, and although there are still a lot of improvements that could be made, I do understand why you're struggling with it. Due to this, I'd like to give you a chance anyways because you have everything else on point!
