  1. A bun dance of adminstrator personal do not have eyes like hawks that watch every corner of the map at once, considering that usually a max of 3 are on at once, with 1 AFKing mid round (oops that might be me, discord tags are homosex, am i right!)

    The Battle of the Bulge (16 December 1944 – 25 January 1945) was the last major German offensive campaign on the Western Front during World War II. It was launched through the densely forested Ardennesregion of Wallonia in eastern Belgium, northeast France, and Luxembourg, towards the end of World War II. The surprise attack caught the Allied forces completely off guard. American forces bore the brunt of the attack and incurred their highest casualties of any operation during the war. The battle also severely depleted Germany's armored forces, and they were largely unable to replace them. German personnel and, later, Luftwaffe aircraft (in the concluding stages of the engagement) also sustained heavy losses.

    The Germans officially referred to the offensive as Unternehmen Wacht am Rhein ("Operation Watch on the Rhine"), while the Allies designated it the Ardennes Counteroffensive. The phrase "Battle of the Bulge" was coined by contemporary press to describe the bulge in German front lines on wartime news maps,[21][c][22] and it became the most widely used name for the battle. The German offensive was intended to stop Allied use of the Belgian port of Antwerp and to split the Allied lines, allowing the Germans to encircle and destroy four Allied armies and force the Western Allies to negotiate a peace treaty in the Axis powers' favor. Once that was accomplished, the German dictator Adolf Hitler believed he could fully concentrate on the Soviets on the Eastern Front. The offensive was planned by the German forces with utmost secrecy, with minimal radio traffic and movements of troops and equipment under cover of darkness. Intercepted German communications indicating a substantial German offensive preparation were not acted upon by the Allies.[23][24]

    The Germans achieved total surprise on the morning of 16 December 1944, due to a combination of Allied overconfidence, preoccupation with Allied offensive plans, and poor aerial reconnaissance. The Germans attacked a weakly defended section of the Allied line, taking advantage of heavily overcast weather conditions that grounded the Allies' overwhelmingly superior air forces. Fierce resistance on the northern shoulder of the offensive, around Elsenborn Ridge, and in the south, around Bastogne, blocked German access to key roads to the northwest and west that they counted on for success. Columns of armor and infantry that were supposed to advance along parallel routes found themselves on the same roads. This, and terrain that favored the defenders, threw the German advance behind schedule and allowed the Allies to reinforce the thinly placed troops. Improved weather conditions permitted air attacks on German forces and supply lines, which sealed the failure of the offensive. In the wake of the defeat, many experienced German units were left severely depleted of men and equipment, as survivors retreated to the defenses of the Siegfried Line.

    Wait this isn't his quote, this is the copy pasted introduction to the history of the Battle of The Bulge!

  2. If you remove scrap-metal i'll commit the finest, flashiest and furious act of eating you @cancerous_cunt, like 101% cannibal style.
    I'll take your arms and turn them into stomach kebabs.
    Then your liver i'll mince, and make into a lasagna with skin as its core ingredient
    I'll mash your brain and use it as batter for your deep fried testes.
    And i'll donate the rest to viable and trustworthy organ donor societies, because people need heart and lung transplants, it's no joke, register today!

    Evening house is good as is, just get the Sneak McGee and you'll win every time, it's not bad at all

    Subteranean is never even played, so i mean i'm fine with it getting removed.

    Xmas_downtown was entirely overplayed in it's time on the server, but was undoubtedly a good map, and i'd like to see it back.

  3. Considering that these are all from gamebanana (a competitor server). I think adding these would attract the attentions of them, considering it would be stealing.
    Also, this subforum is pretty much unchecked by the admin team, if you wan't to make a suggestion; either do it in the Discord, or tag the manager @PsquawOsaurus or HnS admins such as myself. That way your requests are 10x more likely to be seen.

  4. Things change, but we have to do what is viewed as better; which leads me too what Charmayy says about the community

    - Allow community members to have a say in who gets to be staff and who doesn’t. Just because you don’t want them to be staff, doesn’t mean they won’t be a good staff member. This is a non-profit community. They are supposed to be transparent with it’s members.

    - Allow community members to read up on roadmaps on what you plan on doing and have it more available to them rather than on a trello that 5 people know about. Not just on big things, but some people would love to see the little things being fixed, too.

    Out of what was suggested, by far these are the two i most agree with; as i've said before in a few other posts. We are a community, which means we need to start listening to the players which we rely on. If a community votes for someone they think should be there, and only one person disagrees higher up, don't you think that's wrong?
    I have also commented on the "transparency issues" that GFL has in relation to it's members from higher ups, public updates are few and far between; but changes to critical features and the core of GFL are often never brought to attention.

    Anyway, now is time for a "Goodbye comment" -
    I still remember the first time i met you on Hide and Seek, and it was a blast! You were one of the funniest people i'd seen represented in my somewhat limited view of GFL at the time, and i'll probably never forget that either. VCing with you later on was hilarious, all you did was take the piss out of everyone, and i laughed harder than i'd ever normally do!
    I still remember the time you gave me a million "totally" legitimate points on HnS, and i must say you're a really cool guy. Thanks for the short, limited memories; but i'm sure I'll still remember you for years.

  5. To interject here @cancerous_cunt and @Logic_ there's no need to go at each other.
    But Logic you're missing some info; we've asked Psquaw to add the scripts in person and on the Discord/DM/Server.
    A shitpost like this is one of the few ways to get him motivated as it adds scale and the ability for everyone to voice/agree on the topic. Now don't get me wrong, i'm not supporting the OVER use of these "shitposts", but rather their value in motivation. You have your right to opinions here, but please make sure you have the full situation and details first.

    Cancer, you don't have to be sarcastic or go at him; it'd have been easier to state after his first post that "It's already been tried, and unsuccessful, so I've resorted to "shitposting" to get him motivated" (or in your own words, i know that sounds bad but i couldn't think of another way to put it)
    Please act like admins and not children; this isn't a school playground or nursery. This is a serious forum with limits to attacking and shitposts.
    So keep that in mind when you're talking here; as some people can just as easily see what i've seen and revoke your right to post/comment

  6. To be honest, the map is small. Like, really small. The kinda small you get when you 1/4 Smallotown (without the "upside down" area)
    It's a fun map yes, but using it for our player count would result in:
    ==== the seekers win! ====
    ==== the seekers win! ====
    ==== the seekers win! ====
    ==== the seekers win! ====
    ==== the seekers win! ====

    Starting mapvote...
    If you can tell from that, it's a relative no from me; it's just really REALLY too small
