Yeah, but... Just make a goddamn ACM that tells people "Type !showadmins if you don't want to be duped by a rule-breaking loser", and everything will be better.

Note: This doesn't JUST talk about the thing for the Shield. In fact, I'm actually trying to recommend something that limits impersonation.

Edit: Before anyone types anything more, I'm just going to stop talking about the Shield thing. I've already expressed my opinion, but I don't want to cause any debates, and in all honesty, it's better if we all just stop right here before this could get out of hand with back and forth replies, or, rather, one-way replies on this post.

I think that it was stupid to even stop allowing people to use Shields, then. Just tell the people with Shields "Hey, you're going to get your access from the Shields removed because we said so, have fun."

Eh, I sort of agree with Pigeon. If you wanted to make sure if any active Admins are on, then you could just create an Automatic Chat Message (ACM) that says "To see if any Admins are In-Game, then type !showadmins." It's a pretty simple idea, and it would stop worries about people trying to impersonate an Admin. The Shield is more of a cosmetic for me. Just because it shows that players are Admins on some servers (This isn't the case for most other GFL Gmod Servers, [I mean that they allow it, from what I know] at least, to my knowledge) doesn't mean that it has to be like that for ALL servers. I believe that you should either give VIP's each and every single Icon, or just remove the feature entirely, just like TTT MC did. You know, because there is no argument for why VIP's should have it, but it's the same thing for Staff Members. There's no need for them to have the shield if they just keep their default tag, and if there was an ACM that notified players about the !showadmins command in order to prevent people from abusing it, then... Everything would be perfect.

TL;DR: It's redundant to have access to a feature like *this*, which allows people to break the rules. Reinforcing my earlier opinion, you should either allow tag icons, or you should remove tag icons.

It's a semi-recent thing to where Senior Admins get to Unban people, so... Yeah.

The game I wanted is just going to be another stupid remake of the game that already had a remake, then a remastered version of that remake, along with the original remake's rerelease.

There was a kill barrier on Xmas Downtown for whenever people got stuck, and because of this, Sukio decided to constantly ram into the kill barrier. If you are to run into it over and over, it causes a bunch of lag (I think? I don't remember exactly how it worked), and since you only had to hold S to run into the barrier, it means that Sukio purposefully crashed the server. Rennadai only wanted Sukio to be banned for a week, but then, @Liloz01 swooped in and said "Nah, permanently ban this guy", and so, Sukio got banned.

Note: I was the person who originally banned Sukio, (Before the ban was edited twice [Once to make it a 7 Day Ban, and then the other switched it back to Permanent] through the Console) so this is why I made a comment, @HomelessBert.

Like Public Council Meetings, we could have a Public Community Meeting or something, where people give feedback on the server. That's a genuinely good idea for some GFL Servers. (Especially the dead ones)

Just a small poll. I'd like to see what people think about the server's current state, along with the option of a comment option expressing how you feel. You know, if you feel the need to express your thoughts to people.

Edit: I'm very sorry for the drama, I didn't plan to create it, even though I did it anyway. Anyway, HNS does have some issues when it comes to the general playerbase and toxicity. You know, it's sort of similar to how a TTT Server is. With that on mind, I'm saying that the server isn't fun for me because of the way that our players that join act on the server. The culture is sad, and I want the best for it. This is a major issue which hasn't been stopped. Of course, it will likely never be stopped, but you can at least limit the problems. So, I say that we should discuss how to limit problems that people may have, such as that.

Since @FrankAL doesn't have the proper Perms necessary to be able to unban someone, (It could possibly be the same with @mbs, but I wouldn't know) I'm just going to go ahead and ping @Pyros and @Fafy so that one of you two could possibly make an addition to/correct Frank's Perms.

I've been asking Rennadai, but it's taken a while, so... There isn't really any other option. Sorry.

We've just gotten one new member for the Writing Team. I sort of hope that we can get some more good people in the future. Thanks for noticing us, and for telling other people about us! I really appreciate it.

Well, in order to understand who the best Admin is, you would first have to understand who the worst is. Of course, "I'm the lowest of the low", so everyone else is the Best Admin compared to me.
