Hey. This is the poll for what Movie you'd like to have on our Horror Movie Night. The movies to pick are here on this post. The Event is on Thursday, January 28th, at 6:00 PM EST. The poll will end tomorrow (The 28th) at 4:00 PM EST. As of right now, I only have Netflix, so we are limited in movies to pick for this event. As a side note, if you have any more problems on the server, you can always type "/calladmin" in the chat. While someone may not always show up, it's a viable method if you'd want to immediately want to report someone and get an Admin on the case.

Back when I leaked stuff to D, there were certain things that I never told him, and I explicitly mentioned to him that I would not tell him certain things. I'm assuming that I was a secondary leaker, and he questioned me about some stuff, blah blah blah. 

My point is that we were all the way in. 

I believe that I found out about his Alt on May 17th, and then I told Rennadai (That 3 of us were helping him) on July 18th. My original thought process as a dumb + inmature kid that was easily convinced was: "Hey, we aren't really breaking the rules, since he's not banned!" Of course, I knew what I was doing was wrong, especially since I freaked out when everything came up in July. Whenever the topic of alts came up in Staff Chat, he usually messaged me first in order to get my attention and tell him what was going on. That pretty much means that other people were already letting him know at that point. D was also as active as he normally was on his alt, which allowed him to view gameplay, record stuff, and then take out the interesting bits to show to other people. He showed conversations between other people about me to me, and there's a possibility that he showed other conversations about other people to those other people in order to all get them on his side, while probably acting with some level of differentiating feelings about people based on each person he talked to. Of course, this later part is just an assumption, but still.

We did a lot, he took advantage of me and gave me information I helped him, which in turn made me want to help him more for his activity. It was a cycle that dragged me in, and, it could have at least possibly dragged other people in, too. There were other regulars and 2 other admins at the time which knew about his Main Alt, (There was a second one, but I BELIEVE that's all I knew of, it'd take too long to check over all of the messages) and we did nothing about it. 

Two Things:

1: Since there was Demotion involved as a result of what happened, this may be taken to @Pyros as an issue of the whole Server V.S. Community(-ish) Bans talked about at a previous Council Meeting. I don't really know which.
2: From what I've heard, that situation was allegedly being looked into independently of when I told Wuffy/Rennadai, so if that's true, my opinion wouldn't really matter. However, if I am wrong, I will give my own thoughts. Otherwise, I don't really think that I am in any position or right (It'd be wrong of me) to do so.

Thank you for posting this, Joshy. This is a subject that a lot of people have differing opinions on. (Example: The discussion about the "R Word" from a while back) Specifically, the ideas of "Meaning" and "Context" are examples of these "Sides" that a lot of people are divided between. Some people like to argue that no matter what, based off of a word's meaning (Such as how words like the "N Slur" or "F Slur" have been used towards certain groups of people both in the past and in the present), it should never be used. However, other people tend to argue that the context of a word being used matters, and it isn't bad if it is not meant to be bad.

The censorship in itself for the use of these severe words is something that I'm okay with in a controlled community such as GFL, however, there's always that potential worry that more words may be censored.

Many people have different opinions. If you're using a word replacement, some people may not like that, however, as long as the word replacement isn't that of one with negative context, or, the meaning behind the word is not something that people generally feel on edge about, then my opinion is that the specific word should be banned. It depends on the history of the one using said words, what they've previously said, and if there is a worry that they may say it again. If a person has shown reform, and someone tries to interpret something they said as an attack with a so called "Word Replacement", then the people in charge of enforcing rules against certain types of language should be wary and be sure to interpret the situation correctly, rather than assume that someone is trying to be rude. Of course, there are always those types of people that want to show other people some attitude, but you can't really change what people want to do most of the time.

TL;DR: "Word Replacements" and another unnecessary words should not be censored, however, if someone is being ill-mannered, then punishments are fine, so long as "Okay Words" aren't taken away from other people.

By moving it I'm not saying there was wrong doing although please try to stay in the right categories so all the threads have their best shot at proper discussions or go for off-topic if there's really nothing to talk about

Well, yeah, but it's just a send-off to these servers. Murder was a server that really used to be alive with Winter and people before them, but now, this version of the server just sort of died.

Welp, I wasn't on this server as much compared to nZombies, but it's still worthwhile to mention this. @TheThirdReaper and @Random Noise were the only 2 Staff Members on the server, and they were cool there. Anyways, that's it.

Well, it's official. At 2:29 PM CST, @Pyros killed the server. It wasn't a bad thing, as it was a server with little activity, but a lot of us expected it to happen. It was a fun server. Thank you for taking care of it for as long as you did, @Cryotheum. To @Bae, thank you for being in the Discord Chat for the server whenever you were there to talk about things. Those were the only two staff members. As for everyone else that played on the server, thank you for doing so. I would be posting this in the nZombies subsection, but it's going to die in a while, along with the Discord stuff. It was a fun journey, and to those that played, thank you.

Its memories will forever be a part of the stars. Finally, to the next GMod Server that launches, we wish you in advance, "Good Luck".
