  1. We just keep adding things to the list.

I need a cover for my camera on the computers (personal and work).  I had one on the last laptop and it was nice.  Sometimes I do accidentally leave things on.  We don't do anything bad, but the privacy is nice.

My drinks always get cold at my desk.  We found a warmer for my aunt and uncle, and now I want one too.

Another thing we got for my aunt and uncle is the world map cork.  I've seen them at stores like World Market they are like $80 USD, but we bought one for like $30 on Amazon.  I've traveled a lot so I would love to pin a few spots; also have a lot of clutter and post-its on my desk would rather have a more designated area for that.

  2. Looks like there's an opportunity for someone to apply for Server Manager.  It's one thing to want more; it's another thing to create it on your own.  I would definitely encourage for anyone to inquire about this challenging opportunity.

  3. A changelog is a good idea.  I hope they might take your suggestion or share their plans.  It's always hard to know what's going on.

Server activity looks like what I was expecting just little peaks throughout, but no reason to not improve ;) any other suggestions like are there a few maps you were hoping could join the server?  Is gravity too low or too high for the bhopping?

When I was trying to help with a low pop server it was pretty difficult so I can certainly sympathize.  It's also a very busy time of the year such as holidays and people taking their midterms/finals, and so I can also see the practicalities that could be holding anyone down.  Growing these servers is a very long term investment if they're successful.

Something that I thought would be helpful with some of the server is getting some admins.  They could do things like during very low pop near-zero people change the map to something that might attract more players or host an event.  Might be worth applying?  I personally don't see admins as kind of a "police" only type of activity so if you would like to see the server grow maybe you can help transform it if you were willing- I'd encourage applying.

  4. I'm not aware of anything about this server, but is there something "to work on"?  It's a pretty classic gamemode so I'm wondering if it's just a low pop server or if there's something seriously wrong with it?  Past community I was a part of seemed like minigames was more of a everyone comes all at once with their friends and then it's empty for 3 weeks apart?

(Not preferred for me, but just seems to be the MG culture).

  5. A few more things have been added to the Christmas wish list.  A fire pit.  We use to have a fireplace at our old smaller apartment.  We really wanted to upgrade to a two bedroom and be close to work; the big downside was that it didn't have a fireplace :(

I was not a big fan of Season 8 Game of Thrones... a lot less painless if someone else buys it for me versus buying it on my own.  I still like the show and just want it for completeness... plus the episode with that white walker kid scared the heck out of me.

I sincerely ask for a few textbooks per year and one of them showed up on my radar: Fundamentals of Digital Signal Processing by Vegte.  It has a topic in there that has been difficult to find elsewhere and I feel like it confuses a lot of people.  I just took a class on it and I enjoyed it.

Been having a lot of problems on Discord with the microphone on my headphones... hoping for some new headphones too.

My girlfriend bought me a few music CDs.  I love having the CDs.  She bought one of the Imagine Dragons one.  I'm also a fan of Kygo.

One of those really expensive coffee makers with the frother on it.

A popcorn stand.  I like popcorn.

  6. You will always be welcomed back without any shame.  Odds are I'll probably still be around; so you'll be welcomed back with open arms.  Looks like we have had so many opportunities to cross paths I'm surprised it hasn't happened yet!  I hope the family issues are resolved or minimized in the near future.

I can definitely sympathize about wanting to move out the family home.  I know you can do it; if you can't, then of course: no worries.  We live in a different times and it's very hard for our families (and even ourselves) to accept modern challenges/practicalities.

  7. I'm going to bump this up because I don't want to see the ideas fizzle out.

Would it be okay if we counted Social Media as kind of part of this or do we have a PR team they kind of have the same concept if they do social media it inherently advertises us, right?  I think it might also help the new social media team grow or get more people interested in it.

  8. Hope the real life challenges calm or are painless   Event team has been doing a great job in my opinion so even though there may have been hiccups from your perspective I think you did a good job.  I can't say I "know" who the next team lead is, but I'd be very surprise if my suspicions didn't come to fruition; I think they will do a good job too.

Glad you are sticking around :) we'll still be seeing each other around
