  1. With that in mind, then maybe adding some smelted bars with the dragons might be fun...  like treasure added to it adding the themed skills to it.  I'm hesitant because it might be too much and this looks like one of those "less is more" sort of deals.  It might be worth making the frame without those added skills and then to add them later and see its outcome.

Yes: Great opportunity for the creative team or for anyone in GFL really.  If someone really likes drawing in real life, then I recommend upping my high level overview by sketching it on paper and scanning it for GFL.  Later, the creative team members who are more skilled with the software can really enhance the image.

Okay, that clears it up.  Thanks.

Got it after Benroy's response, but thanks anyways.  You guys aren't the only ones doing this to me.  It seems people are repeating things or continuing long after I've told them I got it or it's clear.  It's driving me nuts and I'm not sure what I'm doing, saying or showing, that suggests that the first response wasn't good enough or that I'm lying when I confirm my understanding.  The only place that doesn't treat me like this is work, and that's probably the only place where I don't understanding anything, lol.

I'm thinking of incorporating a dragon in place of these goblets with the volcano in the center.  I think having two volcanoes would look silly.  Place some typical looking fossils into the wall.  I think this would be like peaking of a building on the island just before getting to the volcano.  The following is clearly not the work.  It's just a high level overview of my concept.

Another approach would be to turn the goblets into some kind of fancy indoor goblets aboard a ship, and to have the outside be the front of a fancy ship on its way to the island  Maybe add some (round ship-like) windows to break some barriers and add more outside view.  Again: A high level overview of my concept.

1st time I've heard your voice, I do believe. :)

Also, I assume that's your bike in the video? I can't imagine they have bike with "free range" stickers on them :)

The bicycle belongs to the federal government.

I would use my microphone regularly during game play, and I'm certain you've heard me on GMOD TTT or the one or two times you visited the former CS:S ZM server.  I use a loop back as well and I've posted several demos.  An example is here, and I also did a video near a wind tunnel here.

  4. The suggestion was to keep topics the same.  I'm demonstrating here, that it is not functioning the same.  It's acting redundant to latest posts rather than a latest topic independent of each topic's activity (as previous).

  5. @Kubnair, they use these radios to test the EMU/EVA radios.  Was going to do a video for you, but the sound just wouldn't come out on the camera, and the whole fun of these radios is sounding like an astronaut.

The people in the group I visited below...  their job is to test batteries, and sometimes the batteries explode.  I think it's a pretty cool opportunity.  They told me most people on the team are electrical engineers, which shocked me because I thought it was more of a chemical engineering opportunity.

  6. I cannot believe there are so many of you in Texas and I didn't meet any of you during my three month visit.  I'm flying out of Hobby later today.  I'm planning to grab lunch somewhere around the Dickinson or Clear Lake area - hopefully - in an hour or two.

  7. It's about time CS:GO ZM got the boot.  I thought the team spoke of this during the promotion, and we saw issues with it long ago; not just in the server activity.

You guys confuse transparency in leadership and communication compared to a popular vote.  It's not the same, and the best leaders can make decisions against the popular vote although I am not suggesting to deliberately always run against the wind.

Seems like you and Sasha are doing most the work (i'm assuming its part of your job on the CA Team). How can we ensure you can focus on all these divisions with equal amount of quality?

  9. The RuneScape team needs to have some entry level and free to play (F2P) activities available.  I also suggested making guides to help redirect some of the traffic to a place like GFL.  RuneScape has a lot of activities, skills and quests.  I could not find any GFL related content on the RuneScape Official Forums (RSOF).  This is a big mistake.

People are literally looking for clans and RSOF is a very limited forums constrained by resources and rules.  This often leads people to joining forums like ours.  I play less than once per week and I've had no problem recruiting people into the other clan I'm in.

Another strategy to consider is this whole clan affiliation/collaboration thing.

  10. I was so happy my younger brother could visit me.  It's been over 10 years since I have gone to a Waffle House.  I still strongly prefer pancakes although the waffle was good.

We went to the Rocket Park and he did a Facebook live video.  It was fun!

"I was personally saying vocabulary, spelling and grammar isn't required for good leadership." - I am genuinely curious, what exactly does that quote mean if not the manner in which one communicates to others?

You don't believe someone with a very basic vocabulary, and we'll even stipulate the poor spelling and grammar, that they cannot communicate such that their team members would understand?

You don't believe someone with an excellent vocabulary, and we'll even stipulate the wonderful spelling and grammar, that they cannot poorly communication such that their team members wouldn't understand?

The third thing to make a good leader is the ability to communicate properly in the primary language of your team, players, customers, etc.. @Joshy, you appear to disagree, and the only reason I think that would be is that you hold that one can properly show what must be done, and make proper decisions and the like, without having an eloquent grasp of the language he communicates in. While you are not technically wrong on a team-level, the problem lies that if a leader is unable to speak in a proper way, but only speaks in ways like this: "yo dud how r ya," then it gives a bad image for the team in question, hampers growth in the long run, and can lead to confusion and the like depending on what he is the leader of. I personally believe that you need to at least sound like a late middle schooler to an early high schooler to be effective with communicating with one's team and beyond, alongside maintaining an image of professionalism, which is vital to company's, organizations, and small teams alike, depending on the circumstances.

    I said nothing about communication.

  13. There was quite a discussion in the Shout box about what qualities "good leaders" share.  I think it warrants a thread.  Help your leaders out or simply share us your insight as what you think makes a good leader.

I was personally saying vocabulary, spelling and grammar isn't required for good leadership.  I didn't mean to make it sound like it wouldn't help, and it's vague enough to not scratch out other characteristics such as charisma.
