The account I have actually wasn't my account. My friend from school let me use it for a few months until I decided that I was going to change the email and password. Feels bad for him..
I cannot respect that

I found out about GMOD because someone had thought I bought CS:S as some kind of package deal that included GMOD, and they were begging for my copy of it. I wasn't sure what I had because my twin had bought the game for me while trying to drag me deeper into the gaming world. I later bought it among many games during one of the Steam sales.

edit:
This one shows the games even if it's not recent

I don't think we have a shortage of people applying for members, but if we did, then it would be inherent of a shortage of people joining our community.
Treat the forums like a Resume: You want the important things on the top, and you want to catch the audience's attention. I agree with you that there is something missing, and I've seen something else included at the top on other/past communities; it really enhanced their activity and improved the community, but I'm hesitant to say anything since my perspective and ideas are not appreciated here.

I'm seeing a lot of comments about "it's easy."
You're right for the most part, but that doesn't invalidate the information presented here. The general hacker is very easy to identify, but a lot of these games have been around for a long time and there are some pretty advanced hacks that allow the users to tune the subtlety. It's like a runner or a lifter on steroids running a little bit slower or simply grunting when they lift "heavy" weights in order to make things look more legit.
These commands aren't just for identifying hackers. In modes like Surf RPG DM... we're just going to have people who play 10 hours everyday for the past 7 years, and they are going to be REALLY good at what they do. People still accuse them of hacks, and using these commands can also help the admin prove... by contradiction... their innocence. This can prevent some really bad decisions, and in the few cases where we have superstar players who are willing to check, this might prevent a few people from crying wolf as well.
Of course nothing is 100%, but these are tools and resources meant to supplement our intuitions. It's silly to not use them when there are no costs or trade-offs associated with it. Here: It's one of few times you can have your slice of cake and eat it too. If the professors allow you to go to your exam with open notes and your books, then I'm pretty sure you'd bring them even if you were confident or comfortable with the material.

I suggested using this more effectively a decade ago... better late than never, and I'm happy to see it. Thanks!

I don't do this anymore since my mom yelled at me.
I used to collect Candy wrappers and then I ended up using them to make art. :D Even paperclips.
That sounds legitimately cool! I had a friend who did an art project (for class) using cinnamon sticks to make a skeletal arm. It was awesome and it smelled so good.

Lol those are some interesting pictures, especially dat statue
Yeah, the statue one was pretty funny. You can see in the reflection, that I caught a lot of people's attention with that stunt, but the opportunity was too good for me to pass up.

I collect medals, btw, those 1 real bills doesn't exist anymore here at Brazil, so pretty much they are really expensive and if you wish you can make a good deal with some collectors
Ah, all of it is worth nothing if I'm not willing to sell it
awesome to know, though, because I was not aware of that. One of them has very sentimental value to me (seriously).

I feel bad. Seeing good high quality staff resigning. Hope you move on with life and find happiness anyways. I also played ZE once on csgo and it was super fun
He's relieving the Server Manager role, but he'll still be leading the division with HackingPotato. This is a very good thing because it allows for someone else to concentrate on the server while he can guide the entire division towards a direction, and it'll allow for tolerance in the cycle of leadership ie. if he leaves in the future then there will be potential candidates to take on his role; it'll also introduce diversity into the leadership and have more people involved. This is a very good move and I'm happy to see this decision. I haven't been very happy with our community lately, but I personally believe this is one of the few decisions made in the better interest of the community.

Yo is that the legendary $2 bill?
I know there is a JFK void one, but this isn't it.

What do you collect if anything, or have you come across interesting ones too?
I've seen some interesting collects and have come across more during my travels. I've seen Apple products (including the very old stuff), Beanie Babies, Marilyn Monroe stuff, products related to M&M's, and even Pez dispensers. I collect something I think a lot of other people might collected too... mostly money. I'm thrilled to visit so many places, and some friends are willing to share with me their country's stuff as well. I collect a few other things, but I'm a lot more passive and less willing to spend on those... some government pins and memorabilia coins, stamps... I thought it might be fun for us to share our splurges.

I had fun working with you and messing up on your name all the time, Wilfred. Our team began with people who were not very Counter-Strike oriented and I really liked that you'd join us on the RPG server from time to time.
Good luck with your pathway and the military; it really wouldn't surprise me if we would ever meet in person given this type of work, and I think you'd be a pretty cool person beyond a wall of text and images on the internet. Have fun and many cheers.

Ben, I think your thoughts on this are not really fitting right.
Are a lot of GFL members already RuneScape players with members? I don't think so. If you're going to advertise something here, then you'll probably want to create events that are F2P, easy to do, typically more social or helping new players, and give them a pathway into your RunesScape chain of command (leadership); give them incentive as it seems many GFL kids are looking for ways to earn different titles and badges (possibly a RS mini division badge in the future?)
Aside from that: These events are great if you already have momentum in the game, but it didn't sound to me that you had that. If you do happen to have a lot of RuneScape people already who are not in GFL, then your next steps should be to attract them to our community boards and show them the other features GFL offers them. This is how you take advantage of the mini-division idea and possibly turn it into a full-blown division. They'll join us and begin to play other games, or when it's time for them to transition beyond RuneScape, they may choose us for the other games; also: They'll get involved with ideas, network and create a team dynamic GFL didn't have previous to this division. It'll enhance everyone's fun.
You've really got to milk this opportunity and cater to your audience.

RIP EU. Stuff like this is going to destroy the bloc. Incidentally the UK will live thru this and there will be no such thing as Scotxit.
Going back on topic. IS IT TRUE BOBBYS DON'T HAVE GUNS?! I mean I appreciate the effort that they do in trying to save everyone like civilian police should vs militarized police designed to kill.... but they don't even have stun guns?? I find it sad that Palmer had to lose his life by being stabbed despite being the go to person when trouble arises..... WTF
Almost nobody has guns. Maybe the equivalent of "SWAT" will have guns, but the police officers here are proud of their work and to not have a gun; also, when you watch the equivalent of "COPS", the police officers yell that they have a taser instead of a gun. I'm not sure about the rest of the UK, but in London, you're not even allowed to carry a knife with you.

I suppose the whole idea of keeping it in a hidden forum is so that people don't "hard code" their applications to fit our standards. I have mixed feelings about this.
Personally, I don't think there are enough non-Admin Member Acceptors to change a system that generally works. It's ideal to have everyone involved, but we can only aim for optimal in this scenario. I think preserving its limited access is the best route to to go, and to have someone in leadership or a Google Doc, as @SwegBuster suggested, act as a separate means for the few exceptions.

My experience with you has been a pleasant one. It saddens me that someone like yourself and possibly others might be worried about being demoted
, but it sounds like you have a good grasp on your priorities. You don't need to be in a position of power to be in a position of power, and I still firmly believe people can do well both in online communities and their life
Keep up the great work and see you around!

The symptoms continue to roll out and grow, but again, I don't think it's necessarily "death" compared to something more like a sitting duck.

I'm fine.
EDIT:
It's definitely not a "war zone" out here and I'm within walking distance.

Lucky you on the warning! It would have been a cheap fix-it ticket anyways.
Some quick tips for other people who get pulled over:
- Don't self-incriminate. For example, if they pull you over for speeding, then say "I was going < speed >." It's okay to be silent, but don't say "I don't know" or "I was going about..."
- Write down everything they say and do, and even time them. While they are away from your vehicle - and do not step out - take a few pictures of the surrounding area and their vehicle (a picture of them is useless, and so don't do this). Get their complete name and see if you can find anything online about them ie. past cases.
- Later, make yourself a statement using the notes much like an essay due for school, and write down a lot of relevant question. Officers will do the same thing, but they pull over a lot of people and will pretty much use a template. Presenting yourself to the court compared to the officer will be like the differences of someone submitting a generic resume to a job compared to a catered one... cater yours!
- Be creative with questions! You can ask things like "Was it dark outside?" and suggest that it affected their visibility. "How fast was the car in front of you going?", "When did you first allegedly notice my vehicle?" "Did you lose track of my vehicle at any point?" , etc. Not only will this shake the officer as they might not remember the details, didn't take notes on that, but they might accidentally invalidate their story too or their hesitations will suggest your innocence.

You're inferring an ending to the movie, which I don't want to know because I haven't seen the film yet. You should put that in spoilers -- I thought this was just going to be fans talking what they like and all... not revealing or inferring stuff that is out in theatres.
EDIT:
I personally grew tired of X-men after the whole Phoenix thing and Jean Gray. That movie was a total butcher and it was even kind of boring. I think they knew it sucked, which is why they "reverse" everything with that follow up, Days of Future Past. X-Men: Apocalypse was SUPER BORING. I'm glad I saw it for free on an airplane flight, and I cannot even remember where I was flying to or returning from... I may have fallen asleep during that one.

Bae sort of had something going on. It seemed to have started with her receiving permission from one of the Staff members, but it also seemed they passively gave her the blessing not expecting it to amount to anything. It did. She asked if she could do a giveaway and when I gave her my blessing on it... the team seemed flippy-floppy, and I would imagine their attitude on this topic has not helped the project progress any further.
