  1. Well I made up my mind. Hillary can haz president. Even though she's one of the 2 bizarre candidates we picked from a pool of people for about a year now.

My reasoning is this. President in my view is someone for foreign policy rather than domestic policy (Trump would make a misunderstanding into WW3 and will never get much of anyone on "the hill" to join him w/ legislation)

That being said I'm rooting for every republican I can think of for both houses of Congress since that is in charge of our purse and making laws.

Here is why. https://www.healthcare.gov/ (22%-25% increase in premiums) You'll have to google for mainstream articles like CNN and NBC articles since they took down or hid anything saying the truth about Affordable Care Act which ironically isn't so affordable.

No way in hell am I ever going to vote for a Democratic Congress like the 111th one. This is how garbage legislation happens to pass E Z P Z. Besides me thinks its good to be conservative with money (taxes) can't be too liberal w/ money to spend spend spend until we broke as hell.

In a sense this is the most conservative vote overall since I'm maintaining the status quo (Dem President w/ Repub Congress). Ironically it would have been very liberal of me to vote for Trump. Since he represents uncertainty with his constant tweet flip flopping just to gain votes. A change in this delicate environment could thrust us back into a Depression instead of the eventual recession coming soon. (markets like as little as possible uncertainty)

But whatever this is my 2 cent vote. Everyone else is free to vote on their own for their own reasons. Just felt like sharing.

  2. And the US has devolved, well has always been devolving, into a nation of pick 1 of the 2. There is no 3rd viable option. GG

God help us all if one party takes both Congress and the White House. They'll take the Supreme Court too since thats up for grabs. There's nothing more shafting of ourselves then letting a very small narrow minded group of either extreme left or extreme right nut jobs taking full control of our gov't. Moderation and common ground, or common sense, have no meaning in today's US politics. Media doesn't help either.

As of right now as before I'd rather have a "do nothing" Congress and President than both of the same party shoving down garbage onto us.

  3. @Major_Push

I welcome it. I hope this can actually lead to the Bush administration to being sued. That was such an insane administration. Wishful thinking yes but definitely a step closer. The Obama administration has to watch out themselves too. They're not Nobel peace prize winning material either. cough drone strikes cough :lenny:

  4. @ DootyDootTheSkeleLord

I would have contributed significantly to this but was on vacation in Italy. Interestingly my return flight had me stop by North Carolina on Wednesday. Had I made an extension on my vacation, I would have had a fun layover. I was tracking it as a strong wave with decent spin off of Africa but I knew it wouldn't go gulf coast due to the fall cold fronts. If anyone wants useful weather links, let me know and I'll post them. They range from Joe public to Meteorological expert analysis (such as live tracking and very raw data of Miss Piggy P-3 Orion Hurricane Hunter and the 53rd Air Force recon).

All in all. Poor Haiti. Sad to say but its just gonna happen again in the not too distant future if preparation in that country isn't solved. Heck they're still dealing with damage from the 2010 earthquake.

  5. @Firestorm

Hate to break it to ya but it did pass. Congress had overridden Obama's veto. GG :lenny: Me I'm in it for the lulzy entertainment thats to follow and the fact that 9/11 and what came after was a huge plague/cancerous for everyone in this century so far. Could be worse though. Could have been PATRIOT ACT 2.1. :lenny: Dam TSA wouldn't let me drink my limoncello birds :cockatiel: on the plane. I needed something to distract me from the fact that I had 2 fat guys to sit in between. The most god awful 8 hours of my life. At least I had free movie time. :lenny:

It's a damn shame that people turn protests into violent affairs when they can be peaceful. Worst part is that those assholes who start rioting/looting probably don't even believe in "the cause" and are just doing it to cause chaos or to get free shit.

Don't worry, just a small population of Americans being expressive about their bursting at the seams anger. Nothing us globalists have to worry about. :lenny:

Seriously America has problems. America is not alone in this btw. People deny it cause they don't wanna hear about it but it has serious issues we're not addressing properly.  It also helps to see how people dig up very old shit to find a sense of entertainment or nostalgia.

We're doing a disservice to ourselves when we leave someone behind. Just wait until there's a reason for a visible economic collapse. The Fed can't even raise the rates above 0.25%.... The real party will probably begin although for most of us it began in 2008. Heck I basically had to recently fire peo.... no I mean lay off. That's the correct term to say I think. :lenny:

  7. Internet me. Everyone knows. :cockatiel::lenny:

IRL me. Contrary to popular belief. Everyone knows......

I am the polar opposite of internet me.

Meaning I'm super serious, probably try hard and not fun until I down a few drinks to numb my stress.

  8. Almost a week old story (or decades long) that MSM is now just reporting (again) but what are your thoughts?

    https://www.bloomberg.com/features/2016-baltimore-secret-surveillance/

My thoughts, criminals have no rights the moment they commit violent or destructive crimes that hurt the innocent (murder, rape, terrorism those type of crimes). They deserve no rights cause the rest of us play fair while criminals cheat, take the easy way out, and/or prey on the innocent. I'm for coming down hard on those people. Yet between other news we've seen in the past like considering domestic UAV assassination to (insert gov't agency's ABC name here)'s spy programs one has to wonder, are the innocent's rights slowly fading away in the US? In the future what if your only guilt is political ideology (like the anti-nazis or anti-communist movements in the past and now). To having something valuable like an idea you made to become successful (google corporate espionage). There are literally cameras everywhere and it's easy mode to listen on anyone. Think hard on this one. Your future depends on it. :lenny:

That's the problem with thinking of healthcare as a business. In the end it's not about how many people you save/help but how much money you can take from them.

Though slightly different, I am relatively knowledgeable on the healthcare setting from research to clinical, from pen and paper to lab instruments and "manufacturing".

I agree. Healthcare workers should be paid but not like this. I've seen the horrors in billing departments and in the lab. Everything from forcing quicker TAT (Turn Around Time) to flat out fraud (running then billing a patient, their insurance or both).

All I gotta say is what I tell my new hires in any department (outside of lab too like sales and billing) even if they are experienced. "That qtip swab in spit, pee pee cup, blood vial, biopsy, whatever tissue sample is not just that. It's a person's life you are messing with. Tread lightly or they will come down hard on you and everyone else uninvolved eventually."

My current situation right now is this. A competitor of ours ran lots of samples with very short TATs. Turns out a majority of those were Medicares which is a big fucking no no (equivalent to committing fraud at the taxpayer's expense). Now our company and others are being closely watched and it sucks to know someone is watching you work while having to concentrate on your job.

I could list other events I've seen but I would bore everyone here explaining an epic bible cause that's how many I've seen in the name of TAT, sales, and billing. In fact ironically we get invited and paid a bit more to give speeches at symposiums of our experience so people can learn from this.

  10. I still have the dvd copy of Windows 7 Ultimate that I can migrate to any computer I chose (one at a time though). I still use it. Feels good. Also rejected the free Windows 10 offer cause every program I need for work (and back to school in the coming future) supports only up to 7. Heck some only support up to Windows XP in which I go to XP mode. Still, could be worse. Try going back to MS-DOS using Win98! For that I have an old PAC 64 network sniffer exactly like this:

    s-l1600.jpg

LOL forgot every single command, the CD drive is dead, and oh noes no USB (it does have USB 1.0 but no driver for it LOL). Sad part is there is actually still a use for this old as fuck OS on this old as fuck comp. Especially in the public sector. The reason for this is cause its expensive as fuck to develop new programs to say for example test equipment or a military indexing system (think from food storage to nuclear use) for every latest OS update out there. Windows 10 currently is only useful to get that latest DirectX imo or if you're a well established private sector programmer (say for Google) trying to R&D "something" compatible with the latest OS.

TL;DR: The point of this post is to say if you are going to school aka college (even highschool nowadays), a downgrade is actually a blessing (especially to Win7). Professors, teachers and even the workplace (like the medical lab I work at) use programs developed back in the day with little motivation to upgrade to the latest experimental OS. If however you don't worry about stuff like that and only game and using the comp occasionally then knock yourself out updating.

  11. I remember a certain type of people going apeshit over the fact that an audio malfunction of some sort caused Hilary's words to come out as "and we aren't/are gonna raise taxes on the middle class" whether she intends to actually do this or not when in office is up for debate but common sense tells me if people are clapping and more importantly if someone wants to get elected into any office, you would at least lie your ass off or never say you'd raise taxes especially on the middle class. Funny how that certain lot of people instantly jumped on that speech though and made idiots of themselves. Bias sure makes things easier I suppose.

I have to agree though that Trump's words are irresponsible. Its still debatable as to whether he actually meant her assassination or to take her to court/congress (embarrassing impeachment) but I also have to say, oh now people start to care about violence and choosing words wisely. So um ehem BLM (some Hillary supporters) WHERE YOU AT on this and "frying bacon" (the word pig is a derogatory term for cops in the US) before Dallas ever happened?

Point is I'd rather take the wall socket and pee on it. With Trump we might go to war again due to a misunderstanding between leaders. With Hilary it's the same divisive status quo (or worse when the economy "visually" crashes) where Americans kill Americans while the untouchables laugh along with bin Laden in hell. These are not leaders. Not even remotely close. I blame everyone in general. We voted them in or let it happen therefore we own them. Broken or otherwise.

  12. I believe this is a 2 way street. Go into any neighborhood with the same demographic of people who are different than you or what you represent and see what they think of you. For me, it's exactly like when I opened the door and everyone looks at me on my 1st day at school or actually more like if you go to church late.

    On a related note:

BLM is a joke and needs to clean up its act or be replaced with something better than hypocrisy. There are good points (there is true established racism ongoing in say the work place, I've seen that), it's just stained with glorifying thugs and causing misery to people unrelated to their cause. Example: Some people need to go to the hospital in the TMC (texas medical center) via TX-288 in Houston. Can't cause "some mud for mosquito brains are blocking the flow of traffic there with their trayvon casket ritual." Its stupid stuff like that that doesn't help anyone's cause. Its even more hilarious when it's a real emergency, you attempt to gun it, they think you're there to kill them or ruin their cause and they throw stuff at you. This really did happen btw. Just google it.

Illegals and even legal migrants is a very grey area. No black and white lines here. Depends on their situation. If they cause trouble or have a questionable history. YES DEPORT THEM. If not give them a chance. More so if their journey was very fun. Escaping some sort of wrongful persecution going thru a desert region (Cali to Texas) or a strait of deceptive liquid poison with a very strong current (Florida) or going thru miles of land and sea combined (Middle East) is very fun. Especially when you don't have resources like clean water and food and shelter from the elements. Everyone should definitely try it sometime. (not really) It may be a once in your lifetime experience for you.:lenny:

  13. True on the part where there is hatred and fear brewing of moderate and even secular people that came from the faith and regions where the faith was practiced.

Here's the problem. Ain't it hypocritical in itself to just give certain people special privileges over others? Even if its just for the times we live in? Why not let them speak for themselves. Example: I totally loved it when I saw the act of Muslims attending a French Catholic mass in solidarity over ISIS French priest killing. That is the type of thing I like to see. Them standing for themselves against a great evil that's trying to tie itself to Islam like a cancer. Things like just handing out an award to further an agenda however, I just view as a shallow kick jerk reaction that's self serving, condescending and frankly patronizing if I were of the faith.

  14. UPDATE: TEAL 73 aka AF303 failed today as well! At least we have Miss Piggy (P-3 HH aircraft). Also the storm is/was heavily disorganized due to wind shear. Center reformed near 16N 83W. Therefore a Belize strike has been put back into the equation.

Not to worry no gas prices will rise despite the news saying otherwise. Now the next system in the central atlantic is worth noting. Models want to take that in the same place as Earl's genesis was. :lenny:

  15. THE GREATEST TROLL in the history of weather science.

    recon_AF300-01DDA-INVEST.png

USAF TEAL 71 arrives near Jamaica then is forced to return to base before any tests and data gathering is done. Cause is mechanical failure. SON OF A djsjsoajjds :lenny: look forward to the 11pm EDT advisory instead of now. :lenny:

  16. Steering map based on the now of the hour.

    wg8dlm1.GIF

Keep in mind this map and the storm may change. Making this map outdated and useless by the time it heads to the Yucatan.

    Intensity:

Currently has the storm going to Mexico only or even hitting Belize (doubtful of a Belize hit though). If stronger (which is highly likely) the storm will go more poleward (more north). Any land interaction will weaken the storm. It has Haiti, Jamaica, Cuba, and/or the 1st part of Mexico (Yucatan) to go thru.

    Steering currents:

Currently there is a ridge of high pressure situated over the Deep South. Should this move left it'll be Mexico only. Should a trough of low pressure come from the West coast (these to occur periodically and are responsible for cold fronts), it may nudge the high to the right or weaken the high resulting in a possible US hit.

    Stay tuned.

  17. :megusta:

    Good Riddance

Today is a day where I get to lick the tears of Hilary shill (like Main Stream Media) much like I licked the tears of Republican shill (Cheney especially) back in 2012. The mentality (Repubs have this too btw) that says either you're with her (us) or you're a misogynist and a Trump supporter (against us) is shallow and disgusting.

Americans really could use a 3rd party. Preferably a platform that actually aligns with the majority of Americans no matter the race or social status they are in. The time is right to make one now or at least build one for 2020 before the public becomes docile/gullible/too weak to fight back again to vote for another stupid choice.

I hate to say this but Cruz, never liked the guy, had a point. Vote your fucking conscience. By that I mean not who you're told or given. To add to this I wanna also say vote for who you think would best lead this country. Not who you think would win. Not for claiming to be on the winning side. Not for claiming to be a winning part of history. A vote in an election is an important thing that should not be trivialized. We're in this situation for dare i say decades now cause people fell asleep or flipped a coin to vote.
