  1. Heaven forbid but coming soon to a life theater hopefully not near anyone of us, "Rapists and Suicide bombers hack and use popular app to lure thousands of innocent victims". Seriously did any planning other than reviving a millennial's childhood dream ever go to developing this app? Looking at the San Francisco gathering was disturbing. Positive to meet other like minded people but disturbing as a security nightmare.

  2. Vacation is nice but dam mine's has been getting moved all over the place. From Europe, no terror attack to Japan, no too expensive, to Alaska, no can always do that since we are American, to a Nordic vacation, no too fucking cold. :lenny: Hope all is well and you're designated vacation planner did their job well. :lenny:

I'd also like to say that the response from several people online have also been sickening. It's amazing how quickly people began using it to push their political agenda without even having all the facts yet. It's quite disrespectful seeing people use another person's death to push their political agenda.

    this^

  4. You know with all this news I've just realized or rerealized something. All these attacks whether its Columbine or Bastille have one common denominator. The people committing them had problems and never really fit into the society they were put in. Sure the shooter, terrorist, bomb maker, etc is at fault for making this decision but what comes before is 100% crucial and is never really addressed.

Going into their mindset and playing a severe case of devil's advocate, I can actually see why mass killing is a good choice to make. People call you stupid for doing or believing in xyz in society while playing life. However you have access to news and social media. Look at how many commentators whether they be part of the news or the comments section, bicker and argue about their beliefs when they know nothing about your true intent. Their blather makes them look just as stupid for being so divisive and what not. Not to mention media glorifies killings for weeks on end and well yes mass killing becomes a viable option to become "successful" much like making money by getting kids drugged up on drugs.

TL;DR: These criminals were failures in their society and then were kicked in while down on their luck. So in some attempt to turn around their bad luck they'll find any way to make the very society that made them look stupid look stupid in return. Migrants and children of migrants are especially vulnerable to this sick mindset since they'll have a hard time adjusting away from the values their family grew up in. If its a local person, usually its some sort of weird/bad value they obtained themselves while living in their society. The only possible solution I could see is if locals play their part and don't make things worst than they are. Of course this solution is hard to work out given how complicated the world works.

Hope this all makes some sort of sense but thats the way it seems to me to be the case.

SHUT UP GUIZE THIS IS FUCKING NEWS. THIS IS OBVIOUSLY 1000X BETTER THAN FINDING THE CURE FOR CANCER. A;JFDIOJIOPFNHOSBGHDIGHOSIAH

^this or just watch the society that they think has failed them to collaspe. These are the same types that would like some apocalyptic event like zombies, ebola, zika to have the shit hit the fan in some hilarious hope that it would redeem them from their shitty lifestyle. For those types I would like to point them out to Katrina's aftermath of shortages, violence, and general misery (shitting in a "claimed" part of a hallway with people watching you like if you're in prison). Yup must be nice to be herded into a egg ball stadium. Btw parts of Nawlins still hasn't even recovered to this day. Heck got tons of their population firmly settled in here in Houston. Funny how that works. Seeking a stable city that is.

Japs aren't like the west, I heard they aren't THAT welcoming of strangers and their nation is homogeneous.

I believe Antarctica would be a good place when everything melts.

Hmmm maybe Still, a lot and I mean a lot of people travel thru Haneda and Narita everyday. No one has actually thought of hijacking or derailing a train or doing what they did in France? Maybe good security in Japan? I dunno how secure they are but I never do see any "security special forces or something like SWAT" patrolling just cops.

LOL my balls would go straight up gagging my throat over there. At least they'll be warm in a sense. :lenny:

  7. Actually there's another thing I want to mention. Its related but also unrelated. I am or was supposed take a vacation there in Nice along with Lyon, Marseille, Paris, etc. with family and friends this September. Now I can imagine those plans being altered again...

Truth be told America and Europe are overrated. Most of Asia is too however I did have one place in mind to vacation safely that I may bring up.

    JAPAN

I am no weeaboo and would rather go on an electronics test equipment (Anritsu brand) buying spree but one has to ask one's self.

Why aren't the Japanese having problems of radical Islamic terrorism or having their own citizens kill/hate each other on a daily basis (Dallas and BLM come to mind)?

I hear its something to do with family structure, a sense of duty to society at large, and stability but eh what do I know. I've never really experienced a Japanese lifestyle. There maybe more or less to it. I'd be glad to hear anyone's theory on this.

In any case they must be doing something right and for that they can have my tourism money even if the Yen is more pricey than it was last year.

The last time Japan had a terror attack to memory was the 90s Sarin gas attack. Any other negative things are suicide due to social pressures (failing at school or work) or maybe a knife attack (familial homicide). Also OFC earthquakes and tsunamis but thats all I've ever heard.

  8. Oh the news is saying its Islam again.... I guess I'll wait a bit till the truth result comes out but ya if that is confirmed Muslims should do themselves a favor and condemn these attacks in a heartbeat. They aren't doing themselves any favors by not doing so or ignoring the problem they have. The longer they wait the more Islamophobia will grow and it is growing. Just look at the UK. They left partly cause this was one of the reasons. Who knows, the US will actually elect Trump. One way or another things are going to balance out. Dear gawd I hope we don't have a draft. I shake like a leaf under pressure.

On a side note, I was for colonizing other planets till I realized we'd be no better than a virulent bug. Let's just hope there aren't aliens with advanced intelligence. We'd get our buttz handed over to us since we kill our own kind.

Sorry if I sound butthurt and gloom and doom. Truth is. I was a kind person. I like treating people with kindness cause usually you'd be treated back as such. Then came people who took advantage of such kindness. First they didn't care or thought nothing of it. I delivered and got nothing in return. Not even a thanks. I was fine with that. Never really did expect anything of immediate return. Just a peaceful environment. Then people just started taking stuff and talking behind my back. Thats when I realized....

Truth is I am tired of said people.

Moral of the story... There is kindness and then there's just letting people walk all over you. Kind of how there's bravery or being dumb under the mask of courage not knowing what you're really getting into.

I'm really am sorry if I'm being negative. My only excuse is that I'm tired of the madness.

Uh...Shooting random cops is the solution I guess..Police brutality happens to all races in USA if I know correctly, I already saw videos of white people gunned or beaten, it just gets wayyyyy less coverage because that's not interesting when a white guy gets fucked by the coppers.

This is precisely the problem with media of today. When the authors and Editors in Chief come in and say let's print this story out and not that they are making a bias.

Nowadays we talk about how guns need more laws blah blah blah but you don't have or enforce laws that affect a person's mindset. The very mindset which is behind a trigger. smh

Freedom of the press was designed to expose the nasty of a tyrannical gov't with proof not speculation and opinion articles the likes of which is pumped out on a daily basis.

Day by day as far as I can remember (since Rodney King) its been nothing but blacks vs. picky pig articles. Keep telling yourself or people something and it eventually becomes truth in your mind and others' minds (aka brainwashing).

Another set of things, remember how many articles and screen time that were dedicated for Britain to remain in the EU. And look at how many anti - Trump articles (hilariously worked out to his benefit a bit) that get pushed out daily to make Hillary appear as a saint. Not that I'm for a narcissist but I'm not for a shallow president either which both of these candidates are.

TL;DR: Media has a purpose but that purpose wasn't meant to rip a nation apart and for the individual, its not there to tell you what you must do only give you information.

  10. Thank you media for sensationalizing a "blacks vs pinky pigs" story. Also ofc our President isn't helping either opening that big mouth of his but eh whatever. Early disclosure of an incident before all the facts come in and you get idiotic events like this.

Please tell me theres a law like the Sedition Act but instead of protecting just the govt, we need one to protect the general public (ie. the people) from rabid media.

  11. While Trump is being an ass, Hillary is now wasting taxpayer money. (look up Air Force One usage) At the same time Obamy is being so Presidential/Professional by openly supporting one candidate. This whole election is Hilarious. lol pun doesn't even need to make itself.

To all Americans: PLEASE STOP ELECTING THESE PEOPLE. ITS PAINFUL. PLEASE STOP JUMPING ON A FUCKING BANDWAGON TO HELL HOPING TO BE ON THE "WINNING" SIDE. ITS PITIFUL. ACTUALLY VOTE FOR WHO YOU THINK WOULD BEST SERVE THIS COUNTRY. DON'T VOTE FOR WHO YOU ARE CONSTANTLY INFLUENCED TO VOTE FOR. Sorry for the all caps but it needed to be said. :lenny: Sad to see how a life world changing event is reduced to a high school popularity contest based on looks (anti PC card, minority card, woman card) rather than ability to get shit done right.

  12. The media got spanked today. FTSE is up 3.6%. All losses from Friday are recovered and then some. HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH

Now the true test will come in September - October depending who replaces Cameron.

As for the EU punishing the UK. HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA

Lets not forget if the EU has the next year or 2 to worry. The EU will shit bricks if France leaves. All they need to look at is the past or recently Turkey unfortunately.

  13. Honestly both candidates suck. I'll vote 3rd or a write in. Tired of voting for a circlejerk that is the 2 party system.

If you're fine with either then by all means pick thy poison. A Narcissist or a Sell-Out. November 8th Carpe Diem. :lenny:

The result however will be our predestined queen since the times Obama was unknown and running for the WH. I would be shocked if the vote is anyone other than her. Maybe in a good way depending on who won.

It would be nice to dream on how despite so many years of building a puppet she gets wrecked but doubt it. The US is not the UK afterall.

PS: For those to young to remember. The gif is from a 2002 movie starring the donkey from Shrek.

What do cultures have to do with an economic union?

Imho if the EU stopped at maintaining euro currency and had a limited or cooperating relationship with a member's Gov't on trade (includes controversial topics like immigration) then it would be an economic union. Going beyond those means that it then goes more into politics and less into economics which usually or supposedly should consider all cultures involved when making a decision. Even looking up EU in google will give that the EU is a political/economic union. Not strictly economic. Case in point, why does one country, have to pay for another country's bills. Basically you'll have a culture believing in maintaining health for its own is best then move on to the help others if possible while another culture believes harmony comes from maintaining the health of others even if itself is in pain. This shouldn't be the decision of a foreign Gov't to make and should be left up to the Gov't considering this dilemma. This is also why I hate media for shoving down polls day by day in a pitiful attempt to sway or influence public opinion. Even now media holds alot of doom and gloom fall-out opinion pieces on how fucked things will be in a decade. That I'll just reserve for another post.

Moving to a different location but slightly on topic, I think the US should stop giving money for foreign defense to countries well off in taking care of itself or are none of our business if we care deeply of our economy as well but I'm sure that'll have heads turning. I'm also sure there are a majority of Americans who are thinking the same thing given that I've asked around among other things and this is why the world is seeing the US try to elect some of the most bizarre (from status quo) candidates ever in modern history.

  15. My prediction. EU fails in the end. In fact its actually been a good long run. Long before Brexit was conceived we wondered how in the world can you pit so many different cultures together in one union? However, in the long run, it'll probably get replaced by something hopefully better. Case in point. League of Nations preceding the UN. Yes the UN has flaws and may not even work out as well but it sure seems a heck of alot better than the LoN simply cause the LoN failed to stop what it was intended to stop .... a World War.

As someone mentioned, with progress we have to step back from time to time and not view it as a step backwards but as a way of reflection, trying to look and sort out at where we stand, and maybe "taking a breather". This holds true to the common saying "Rome was not built in one day". It seems like we must just build things in one day given technology has brought us all together (ie. Interwebz, facepoke, and tweettweet) and our fast paced world demands decisions on the spot however there are still problems that need solving first before moving on. Why are 51% of people in the UK, whom were motivated enough to vote in awful weather, dissatisfied with the EU?. Yes thats close to half and you'd think that having half is saying this vote should be redone or should not have happened. Not exactly. Even if Brexit was 30%, this is still a huge number of people. Should we forget about them or just let their discontent grow even larger in the future? If Scotland and Ireland decide its time as well then sure why not? Last time Scotland voted 45%. I'd also love to see Ireland reunited again (so my Catholic friends have something else to talk about :lenny:).

Next up is the US. Why are so many people voting for bizarre candidates? I just simply want a president that sets the standard everyone should try to live up to with whats been given (the current and the last one do not earn this title). All the current candidates suck. Yes even the popular ones.

PS:Btw 4chan tapped the media's ass today with a petition. Feels great much :cockatiel:

  16.

@LionelMoosi I totally agree except for one thing. The dollar. The Fed is gonna screw that up somehow. Heck now lowering rates are on the table albeit a very small percentage of consideration. Gold looks more attractive than the dollar especially when the July meeting nears. This coming Tuesday and throughout next week, Yellen and/or the rest of FOMC will say something about what has happened. We'll get a clearer picture then but I'll tell ya it won't be pretty. They've literally been looking for any excuse to hold off on raising rates. The last meeting actually worded this referendum in their transcript. Yen > Dollar for sure. As for the Scots and Ireland we will also have to see. They better hurry if thats what they want, the more they wait the more they lose out on going back to the EU. Check possible France independence. Guaranteed to be sped up in France if say some major terror attack would happen. Those officer killings be brutal.

  17. Dudes and dudettes. You got money. Invest in stocks and definitely invest in the pound. Buying opportunity. Avoid Euro till this separation crap is sorted with not only the UK but now France and maybe even Germany. Train left the station for gold though. Wish I had bought the dip a week ago when news was 24/7 with "bremain polls".

While on that last note. Blame mainstream media for hyping up opinion polls that don't even matter. Just as guilty as the fear tactics by our fearless leader stateside and the bremain campaign. If only they kept their mouths shut maybe just maybe we wouldn't be where we are today. Also how distasteful when mainstream media tried to capitalize on Jo Cox's death. Conspiracy or not. I respect the UK politicians for suspending the campaigns when that happened though. Media needs a leash at times. Freedom of speech matters but yelling fire when its uncalled for (say movie theater) does not.

  18. It begins. Hide yo kids, hide yo wife, hide yo fish n chips. :lenny:

I guess this is what happens when our president arrogantly comes over to another country to tell others how to vote. :lenny: Also media coming off on influencing people as well. :lenny:

PS: Globalism died a bit today. Not sure what to make of it. I see market opportunity though. :lenny:
