  1. I believe that the Hidden's Knife should be changed to the Predator Blade (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=646635858). Seeing as how the Glutton & Ravenous already have a special version of the knife, I believe that the Predator Blade would fit more. The Predator Blade's ability to leap gives the Hidden the ability to leap for some mobility, which fits its theme. The Predator Blade can also deal increased damage to the head and back of a player, which allows for stealth kills and rewards precision. Predator Blade also gives a short speed boost on kill, allowing you to run away easily from your targets. 

  2. Inspired by the Binding of Issac challenge "DELETE THIS", this would do something similar. When activated, everyone switches to the effect of another team, while still remaining on their original team à la the Doppelganger. The role that you switch to is announced for you in chat. For example, an Innocent gains the effect of the Haunted, allowing them to respawn when their killer dies.

    Some roles such as Marker probably need to be unaffected by this nor can anyone gain their effect due to how the respective role is set up.
    This suggestion may be difficult to implement code-wise and may lead to confusion regarding roles, but I do believe this fits the purpose of the Randomat. If a role doesn't work properly with the Doppelganger's effect, then I do believe it shouldn't show up during the round.

  3. I believe Amnesiac should have its damage penalty removed. With the damage penalty, it discourages you from participating in any gunfights as you will have the disadvantage. Effectively, you either have to steal a role early in the round, or risk being shot down by an evil role if you try to survive to get a good role. There's already several evil roles on the server, so I do believe this would help out the Amnesiac a bit.

  4. Honestly not a very well designed role, as it's very easy to get killed even with having 50 more health. Your unique skin would get you KOS'd almost immediately, so you're just a walking target. Basically just an evil Skirmisher with extra health that announces its existence whenever it kills someone. 

     

    Also, you're seven days late for April Fools' Day.

    Serial Killer:

    TTT Explosive Corpse:  https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=922459145 Drops an unidentified body that when someone tries to identify it, the body explodes and kills everyone around it. Costs 1 credit.

     

    TTT Boomeranghttps://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=639521512  Throws a boomerang that bounces back to you after throwing it if you hit a wall. Can ricochet to nearby players, but it may not return to you depending on how you throw it. Costs 1 credit.

     

    Randy Rando:
    A Second Chance:  https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=672173225 Passive item that gives you a chance to revive after dying. You can choose to spawn at your death location or a random spawn location, but you have a limited amount of time to choose to respawn. Killing others increases the chance to revive, but killing teammates decreases this chance. Costs 1 credit, but I believe it should be changed to be 3 credits.

     

    Probably wasn't the best idea to post this on today due to the UWU filter, but hopefully you can understand this.

    I agree that it would give the Bodyguard even more of a reason to be near their target, but I am mainly worried about making the Bodyguard too tanky. I probably would be fine with the Bodyguard having both armor and health regen if the health regen wasn't as fast as the armor regen.

  7. Title: Pharaoh's Ankh and Bunger Corpse Interaction

     

    Description: You can use the corpse of a Bunger to move around the Pharaoh's Ankh once it is placed. I also believe that if the Pharaoh's Ankh has been moved in this way, it causes the regen effect of the Ankh to not work properly, and the Pharaoh spawns in a random spawn point instead.

     

    Notes: Here is a picture of the Ankh having been moved via this method:

    I feel like giving Bodyguard health regen and armor regeneration would be too strong paired together. It's also not too difficult to heal yourself as people frequently put down health stations, and your target could give you other ways of healing (if possible). The health penalty is there to incentivize you into protecting your target or else you take damage, so giving the Bodyguard health regen effectively makes this mechanic useless.

  9. I believe that one of the main flaws of Bodyguard right now is that there isn't much of an incentive to actually guard your target. I believe that this can be fixed by adding in a new mechanic for Bodyguard: being near your target makes you slowly regenerate armor, being capped up to 60 armor maximum. The rate of the armor regen would be slow, somewhere around the rate that the Pharaoh's Ankh heals you. Hopefully this makes Bodyguard be a bit more fun to play as, and actually do its function well.

  10. I see a common trend on the server of certain roles killing their Bodyguard / Pirate teammates. For example, I see that when playing as the Ravenous, people tend to kill their own Bodyguard / Pirate teammate. I believe that this could be fixed by making it where the Bodyguard nor the target of the Bodyguard can directly damage each other, and the holder of the Pirate Contract cannot directly damage Pirates and vice versa.  Anyone else on the team of the Contract holder / target of the Bodyguard would be able to damage them, so it's still fair game. This would be a nice QOL adjustment, but this may be abused and taken advantage of gameplay-wise, but I do believe that adding this in would still be beneficial. If needed, a compromise to this would be this only applies to certain roles such as the Infected and Ravenous.

  11. I believe that the Randy Rando role is currently a bit lacking. More often than not, Randy Rando serves to activate the Randomat effect, then die. Without having anything special other than the Randomat, it's rather bland. I believe that this suggestion will help to make this role a bit more fun:

     

     

    Randy Rando can now pick up credits and spawns with 1 credit to use. Randy Rando can buy some of the traitor items such as passive immunities, radar, and armor.

    Some new random-based items exclusive to Randy Rando include:

     

    Thanos Snap: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1558020463 Upon use, your name is announced in chat and you make a distinct sound. After a short delay, it kills half of all players alive, which may include yourself and your teammates. I suggest that it be changed to not be able to kill yourself and your teammates. Costs 5 credits for balance.

     

    Random Tester: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=617179823 Upon use, a random person's name is stated in chat, and after 30 seconds, their role is stated. The addon also comes with a fake version of the tester, but I believe that the fake version should be disabled. Costs 1 credit.

     

    Random Launcher: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1961665859 Shoots a random prop, and the prop it shoots may have a unique effect. Costs 1 credit. Should be nerfed to 3 ammo.

     

    Random Damage: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=609729626 Damage a random player for a random amount of damage. I believe it should be changed to either deal 1-150 damage. Costs 1 credit, and can be bought infinitely.

     

    Pot of Greed could also be added to the shop as it fits the random theme. Although this may cause you to get a free Thanos Snap, I believe it is offset by the randomness of the Pot of Greed.


    Feel free to suggest any other random-themed items or other stuff that could be added.

  12. The Wrath is generally considered to be one of the worst designed roles in the server. The ability to respawn after being killed by a teammate is highly situational, and if the ability activates it ends up being a bad thing for the Innocent team. While some may view this to be the "intended way" of an innocent potentially working against its own team, I have made three proposals as to how this role could be made more interesting, with it either changing its team or staying the same somewhat:

     

    1. Team: No Team

    Type: Neutral

     

    Same role rules and properties as Unknown, but you respawn as a random special role opposite of your killer.

     

     

    2. Team: Innocent / Neutral Evil

    The Wrath spawns as an innocent role and they doesn't know that they're a Wrath.  Upon being killed by any player, you are respawned and you become a Neutral Evil version of the Wrath that cannot win and you gain a radar for your killer. Upon your killer dying from anything, you steal their role.

     

     

    3. Team: Innocent

     

    The Wrath spawns as an innocent role and they doesn't know that they're a Wrath. When 50% of the innocents are confirmed dead, you are informed that you are a Wrath, and now your ability is able to activate. Upon being killed by an evil role, the Wrath respawns after a few seconds and you are given a radar for your killer. If you kill your original killer, you are told everyone's role that was part of your killer's team and become a regular Innocent. If your killer dies before you kill them, then you become a regular innocent. If you die before 50% of the innocents are confirmed to be dead, then your ability does not activate. If you are killed by an innocent, then your ability does not activate.

     

    Hopefully these fit the theme of a "revenge" role, and this would make the game more interesting should any of these get implemented.

  13. +1, though I do believe that it could have some explosive-themed weapons to defend itself with to take full advantage of the explosive immunity, such as some of the items from the Serial Killer shop (e.g. the corpse launcher / paper airplane), some weapons from the Traitor shop (e.g. C4 or the Jihad), or maybe even some weapons exclusive to it.  Camping may be a problem, but I do believe there can be ways to solve this issue.

  14. It honestly is a shame to see it go, as it had plenty of potential as an experimental server. It didn't receive much attention as the other servers though & the manager was inactive due to personal reasons, so it was inevitable this was going to happen. Still doesn't make seeing the server go feel any less harsh though.
