  1. Talked about this briefly with @Cpt.Haxray about a week ago so i'll put it here as a suggestion.

    - For the TRO sniper give them a scar-20 (not a AWP) so they won't be weak thus why they were removed with them being OP

    - When you put a scoped rifle like the AUG or SG553 into  914 on  FINE it would give you a scar-20

would solve the problem of the TRO sniper being "weak", Would do what the old krieg did, plus would be another 914 weapon.

I gotta agree with most of this. Breach is in fact dying (sometimes). A few days ago I checked the amount of players that were on in the afternoon and there were only five. The player base is also VERY toxic compared to other GFL Garry's mod servers. An example being called a faggot for no reason by the staff team just because you joined or one of the staff kicking you and other players trying to be "funny". Yes, the guns do high damage and most scps are overpowered. The old guns required you to usually get into a gun fight but the new ones require the skill of surprise which most players aren't very fond of. 020 is not too buggy from what I've seen but 160 is buggy to the extent of being impossible to play as. 2845, and 011 are, in my opinion, very overpowered. As for the new staff team and 1799, I haven't seen much from both so I can't give a definite opinion.

yeah im gonna have to say I agree with some of the comments up above what I think it that some of the new staff have a certain profiles that said users associate with as "cancer" thus they equate this to breach. The complaint with 1799 is that he's "cheap" and "unoriginal"

  3. So more recently more I keep hearing complaints about breach and I believe these should be addressed that users and admins have made I've compiled a list down below maybe their trite reasons, maybe they have merit.  I have my own input on these topics though feedback is appreciated.  Please note these AREN'T MY THOUGHTS rather what I think the main complaints revolve around based on what I read from time to time.

    1. Support for Breach is Waning (supposedly)

So this one I here most commonly or at least I hear derivatives with users and members saying the server is not as populated at it once love and that this was linked to various reason as breach "not being as popular"  or that server was "raided" or "admins were inactive" as well as some reasons that are touched upon later.

    2. The Playerbase & Staff

So apparently the staff and playerbase is not the same demographic as it used to be. Certain things change with time though apparently the playerbase according to some has become a "cesspit" or a "cancer" and its driving the "wanted" base/staff away.  I've gotten complaints about "certain restrictions" put in place by the site manager after certain admins abused a said command even though said admins are gone the restriction has not been lifted and "probably never will."

    3.  In game content

Received a few complaints now and again about the guns with them being a "shoot and kill" or "OP" and that the "old guns" should be implemented. Have also received complaints about their being "too many scps" or the "wrong scps" complaint revolve around 160, 2845, 011, 1799 and 020 mostly.  Whether be it bugs (mostly about 020) or power of said SCPs.

    4. Breach has become "torpid"

By this I've heard complaints that the new content and staff added "aren't as good" or "desirable" as the previous staff, the new content added isn't "as good" as the initial content, changes made don't seem "as good" basically put decisions made don't seem to be with "vigor" in mind thus have the ideas of the last few months to a year seem "torpid". Thus this final reason being a compilation of the previous.

Thus I ask does this still hold true?

  4. THEY ALL HAVE THEIR OWN PROBLEMS

05r is a bit mixed I mean 9/10 times scps win cause 05 either has bad spawn or 05 is missing brain cells. If there were some way to go around this say maybe make them malpractice scps (scp's with lower hp) or give the 05 say a buff so there a bit like clef or even an mtf version of 035 then maybe the round wouldn't be so average.

Though as for HAS just being sort of a drag. The idea of hide and seek sounds good on paper its just when 035 spends 5 minutes searching for the last few researchers then it becomes tedious.

As for TDM i have no problems with it though the main complaint is about how ci can storm mtf spawn which is understandable to say the least

Could MTF skins be possible? Or is that completely pointless, considering that those classes wear vests.

It would be interesting though to see models that don't include the CSS Guerilla T.

MTF skins would work like a CSGO counter terrorist like urban, special Ops skins?

    More anime skins?! :wtfalex:

If you love anything in this world anything AT ALL please do not suggest anime skins. Long story short used to play a codename cure server that added a pokemon skin as an "update" and this was basically what happened.

  6. originally gonna make a verbally ironic shitpost but guess now its a legit question. I remember at some point seeing suggestions for Chell, Gordon Freeman and Donald Trump as D class. Now I'm curious if any those would actually be added? Also if anyone could had links to those suggestions.

  7.  *inhales* This is an extremely well done post that demonstrates in full detail the psychological state of breach when 035 was on the SCP team and dares to bring new frames of reference and on the server.   It gives great insight into our own very existence and acts as a mirror of some of the hardest concepts we grasp in life.

yes it does bring back memories jokes aside tbh.

I'm fine with any gun except an rpg...

same here mostly its just sniper rifles, rpgs and one-shooters practically a gold mine for camping and cheese.

I have a feeling we're only gonna' stick with CSGO weapons, at least for now.

Or maybe Xy loses it and adds in the HL2 gravity gun or something.

yeah your more then likely right though the g36/scar could double function as a carbine. i feel like were gonna stick with csgo guns for a year or something and then a new coat of paint like cw2.0 or fas will appear overnight.

  9. DAMN IT SHUTUP ABOUT THE GUNS

Anyway, So had the opportunity to talk about the idea briefly with a couple of people and was wondering if the idea was reflected here. The idea being being a silenced semi-auto assault rifle for breach with good RPM, that did roughly half the damage of the SSG08 One that would balance with the AK-47 and Volk in DPS.

SHOULD CARBINES BE ADDED TO BREACH?

    example of the idea

  10. Step 1) rename it fortnite

Step 2) Bring Back a Gun an semi-Infamous Gun!

Well step 1 might never get done but step 2 might be done.

SHOULD THE KRIEG COME BACK TO BREACH IN A DIFFERENT FORM?

    krieg.thumb.png.d4c937fe2159d93555e267d8af00647a.png

made by the same author mind you

  11. Time to Obsess about something meaningless yet again!

Well Just Wanted to Thank Everyone for the feedback Yesterday. Thought I'd present three possible solution suggestions to some of the problems facing the new CS:GO in breach.

    FIRST IDEA

When Killing SCPs we sure as hell didn't use guns. We would just wrestle them to the ground with our bare hands. I used to kill ten-twenty a day, just using my fists and Energy Weapons.

So Yeah This is largely based on what @Xy_ said in previous post.

    SCP WEAKNESSES

Blunt Objects: Crowbars,  Stunsticks possibly taking 120% damage. Why 120%? Cause you actually have to get close to The SCP meaning The crowbar would do 30 damage with Stunstick doing 48.

Second Part to this is Energy Weapons to Humans they do ordinary damage Though SCP only resist by 1/3 or 1/4 instead of 2/3 for normal Weapons. A Great Example of this is the AR2.

Why not give NU-7 the AR2 (OSIPR) back?

    AR2.thumb.jpg.0760eeb07226a01649a6f347a053c370.jpg

If implemented the AR2 would do 27 damage per shot against humans but 18 (2/3) or 20 (3/4) damage to SCPs.  Using the hypothetical resistances decreases for energy weapons.

    Pros:

Fixes one of the problems mentioned in the previous post to a degree

    Kinda Nice Looking TBH

    Cons:

More Shit you have to download

    Get ready for favoritism

    SECOND IDEA

Largely based on comments made by @Cpt.Haxray

Largely This Ideas Centers making the shotguns stronger and adding some stronger weapons that are in the present download.

Namely Buffing shotgun damage or some stronger weapons.

    xm1014.thumb.png.0b17b81c71974a435d887f46186ae2b0.png

That's 13 damage per shot point blank to a SCP or 40 Damage per shot to a human and is Easily Out performed by Some Pistols for DPS. Why not Increase the Output to 13 x 6 so a point blank shot would be 26 SCPs and 78 against humans? It would put in on par with some of the smgs/rifles for DPS.

As for Stronger Weapons why not a non-reloadable like the R8?

    R8.thumb.jpg.f4006b6a3957c58e375781a7f5327c08.jpg

    FEEDBACK APPRECIATED

    Pros:

Don't Have to Download more stuff

    Possible Great Anti-Camping weapons.

    Cons:

    Possibly Great Camping Weapons

    Problems post:

An idea was proposed to add a type of weapon, perhaps energy weapons, that did bonus damage to scps. Balance is still however being looked at

@Xy_ Yeah a more effective energy weapon would do the the trick, I presume ER1 that was previously in breach or possibly to include higher damage weapons.  As more effective weapons against scps  and higher damage weapons were actually going to be a suggestion I was going to make but energy weapons sound like a great idea.

A higher damage weapon at the cost of stability and RPM:
