I ultimately question why Mapeadores is still alive on ze? I thought Hellz would make a comeback and Mapeadores loses their ze playerbase as of now.

I agree, Mapeadores is the EU Plaguefest.

On skyrim, GFL fixed it with a stripper; that is why you don't do it on GFL.

I was talking about Pirates but that too.

@FireStarter come play on mapea and say it does nothing :lenny:

On skyrim the server completely removed access to werewolf, but the reality is that you can knockback boost on about everything except for dp. You can go flying forward and it's really fun to do. It's in the server's best interest to limit this, regardless of it being *a game mechanic*

It's because mapea is shit is why, why don't you do it on GFL? Oh right it doesn't work to the same extent if at all.

since maps get VOTED on, how does it make sense to limit the maps that the community wants to play beyond the normal cool down which limits them to basically 48 hr cycles.

seems like punishing a mapper for making maps the majority of the community wants to play (again, democracy) and also punishing the majority of the community who voted to play them because a small minority does not want to play them, which NO ONE is forcing them to do.... not to go all logical on you here, but I think this is a silly idea...

How does it make sense to have a cool down instead of letting us play ff 24/7

    Elaborate

Nihilism is a paradox, if life has no meaning you have no reason to continue it yet you continue to live, which in and of itself is a meaning, there is also the fact that you see no allegedly see no meaning or value in life yet continue to live, which is hypocritical.

To be a true nihilist you would have no beliefs, no loyalties or values, however I sincerely doubt you lack all 3 of these things, the only purpose of an actual nihilist would be to destroy, most likely himself.

I am assuming you have heard of Nietzsche, Nietzsche himself was not a Nihilist despite people mistakenly believing this.

Here his Nietzsche's thoughts on Nihilism, "A nihilist is a man who judges that the real world ought not to be, and that the world as it ought to be does not exist. According to this view, our existence (action, suffering, willing, feeling) has no meaning: this 'in vain' is the nihilists' pathos—an inconsistency on the part of the nihilists"

"I praise, I do not reproach, [nihilism's] arrival. I believe it is one of the greatest crises, a moment of the deepest self-reflection of humanity. Whether man recovers from it, whether he becomes master of this crisis, is a question of his strength. It is possible. . . ."

Nietzsche himself believed that Nihilism could lead to a collapse in civilization, but that after working through it humans could find a better meaning in life.

Nihilism itself was popularised by Ivan Turgenev his character Bazarov was a Nihilist, his Nihilism isn't portrayed as a good thing and neither is Bazarov, his cynicism prevents him from having a nice relationship and a happy life.

Nihilism became a political position in Imperial Russia in the Mid to late 1800s, Mikhael Bakunin  an anarchist leader said this "Let us put our trust in the eternal spirit which destroys and annihilates only because it is the unsearchable and eternally creative source of all life--the passion for destruction is also a creative passion!"

The Anarchist movement deeply rooted into nihilist thought ended up destroying themselves through subversion and anarchy, that is what nihilism entails if their is no value to anything.

In Oswald Spengler's The Decline of the West he studied and found out that patterns of nihilist thought were the start of the collapse of many civilizations.

Many 20th century philosophers believed the Nihilism was the biggest threat of the time and will lead to the death and collapse of modern society.

There's also anti-natalism which is the biggest paradox and I can't get into detail here about it, but I would be happy to discuss that in private
