it's good on everything else but I'm gonna buy a AT2020 eitherway hopefully it sounds good

Just for GMOD or for everything? An AT2020 is pretty expensive and if you're just playing games I wouldn't get it. If you stream then its a different story.

It doesn’t look like it’s going to happen. Mostly because the DR population on GMod is very low and apparently we have had past DR server that didn’t work out. It sucks though, would’ve been nice.

Maybe if GMOD 2 comes out we can make one on there.

  3. I learned that some people are insane. The fact that people don't wear masks and think 5G will do mind control really show the bad parts of the United States. It's upsetting to see because a majority of us are being intelligent about this, but that small percentage ruin everything. I also learned that TikTok "celebrities", (if you can even call them that), are the most selfish fucking people ever. That one guy Bryce Hall is a retard.

The people who I think are "mad" about it are the "ogs" the ones that been here the longest and been through it all, I feel like they are not "mad" but dont like when people have hella roles. the reason I think is bc before it was frowned upon for having alot AND you would get denied for having alot so now today them seeing people with  hella roles is kinda like a wtf why? (taking a edumacated guess xD)

What I said probably didnt make any sense lol but back then it was frowned upon and you would get denied for having so many roles.

    This is true.

  5. It is literally impossible that we are alone. Doesn't matter if you are religious or not, the universe is so insanely large, there has to be other life on planets. We are 1/10000000000000... of a grain of sand when compared to the universe.

As for aliens visiting Earth, I am not too sure. The only cases that have a decent amount of credibility are the Pentagon videos that were released, the Roswell incident, and the Phoenix lights. I mean back in the BC times, there were cave paintings of armies claiming to have seen giant flying "ships" or something like that. Unless we misinterpreted that, that could be compelling evidence.

  6. Depends on what roles you have.

If you are a manager, your limit should be 4-5 because sometimes, you will fall behind and will forget about your server when working on other stuff. Some people can handle all of them, but one day they will fall behind. You want to focus on your server the most because that's what attracts the players. Being a good manager is more important than being a good, idk "writing team member" or something like that. Most people here joined GFL through servers, the first impression matters the most. But hey, if you can manage 7-8 different roles, higher up and lower, good for you, just be careful. Also, if your a manager, then I wouldn't apply for mod team because you already have these perms, that to me shows that you want an extra role. I'll admit, at first I wanted different roles because I wanted to be involved with many things and know what was going on, but I realized it was too much to handle. Now, if I became a manager, I would take on 1 or 2 more roles, IF I had spare time.

  7. I agree to this. Sometimes when you accept a member, they will ask you general questions, which is fine obviously, but I think it would be better to do this welcome bot so no misinformation is given.

let me get this right, they fire shuruia, and moderation team welcomes them back because they were at least a good mod, so they nuked the mod team? lmao

Shuruia's removal was also bullshit from the side that I have heard. False accusations and other BS points they used against him.

  9. A bit of a strange decision, but idk too much about this topic. Also since when did managers get like 200 million different roles now. I thought their first priority was to manage their servers, then worry about other stuff. People got like 20 different roles now.

I see members of the moderation team are very upset and I can understand why.

@AngieAre you allowed to call other people toxic when you manage a rust server? Lmao

The point of a music label is to sell as many albums as they can, digital nowadays. How would you feel like if someone gave away your stuff for free on the streets and possibly even made a profit from it without letting you in on it?

The internet is so vast you can't just punish people one by one, and copyright laws are just for that. Sorry, not all artists are making big bucks like The Weeknd or Jay Z. Most of them fight to make music and make a living.

We all love music and we'd all love if it were to be anywhere, but you can't just shit on the artists all day long.

The artists aren't making these decisions, the streamer trainwreck asked 21 Savage on twitter if he can use his music on stream and 21 Savage said yes. It is the music labels. They already got paid for the music because their music is on platforms like Spotify and Apple Music. Streamers aren't just releasing this music out for everyone else, they just use it in the background to make their stream more interesting. My streams have been muted multiple times because of the abuse of this law. I was using Spotify to play the music, and that platform is meant for everyone to listen.  Most of the time, new artists are discovered through videos and streams. Really, the record companies are screwing themselves over. The artist is already being paid.

See, the way i see it is this: should a streamer be struck down for playing music while they play their game? No. Should someone only streaming copyrighted music be smacked with the banhammer? Yes. I've seen people do first listens of albums on twitch and get in trouble, which i think is fair because they're letting a bunch of people listen along with them, thus the artist doesn't gain as much money from their music. So in some ways it's fair and in others it's not.

I agree with your view on this. The problem with these record labels and twitch is that they are punishing everyone for the mistakes of certain people.
