  1. Things I like

    • Unique in terms of gameplay style, the tasks are extremely disruptive, create interesting huddles of people that are fun to exploit and shift the meta around. This includes more stuff for the innocent to do as well.
    • Support classes are interesting and unique and could be different in TTT.

    Things I dislike;

    • Instant kills are confusing as hella and everybody thinks they got slayed because it looks just completely random suicide
    • The tasks are really long and take a ton of people

    Things I would change

    • Less people required for tasks
    • Make it so that instant kills are trackeable, it feels very beta (which it is in truth), and has been frustrating for gamers.

    Thoughts

I actually haven't played as impostor yet, at all, so I don't have thoughts about playing it, this is just as a player with the role.

  2. I think clearer guidelines for delaying could be helpful, but I do think that a lot of "delaying" is just people playing poorly, and as frustrating as it is, I don't think we should start meta-punishing people for playing poorly (like not buying a radar).

On the other hand, I have been trying to be more watchful of people choosing to do nothing when they could be doing anything, which is the first step to mending this problem in my opinion.

  3. Hello! I was the admin that restricted your sprays, and the spray I asked you to remove was a porn reaction meme. I can't describe it any more than that here, but there were bodily fluids involved. I did ask you multiple times to change it, and you didn't, and because it was NSFW I restricted sprays. I wasn't the first one to restrict it, which is where the confusion lies between it being temporary or permanent.

However, I am text only so you may have not seen the warning and I am going to accept the appeal.

In the future, NSFW practically means if your grandma was looking over your shoulder and saw whatever, would she be fine with it.

It should be good now, but if not lmk

  4. I wouldn't go so far as to say it's repetitive to have roles that take on other roles, I definitely think there is room for more expansion in that area, especially with us getting the drunk role, I just think that whenever those roles mentioned kill people, it is most always followed up with getting RDMed, even if an innocent role gets taken afterwards.

  5. Polus:

    Keep
I was initially very opposed to this map, as every time I got to play on it I was crashed out and it seemed like the focal point. Now I like the variety of areas to explore, things to do, I don't love the fog, but it definitely is a fun change of pace from a lot of our other maps.

Pros; Unique, Something to keep innos engaged, lots of interesting T traps (beyond just kill whoever is standing by it)

Cons; Innos sometimes ignore the actual TTT gameplay in favor of tasks, some annoying seemingly impossible to deal with tasks, wonky fog, and Among Us memes from players

    Deepsea:

    Neutral

I initially strongly disliked this map as well, because of tight corridors, very sparse weapons spawns, and just some strange design choices. I have since come around it and do enjoy the atmosphere and locations. Not enough to change it to a keep for me.

Pros; Cool Atmosphere, some neat level design choices

Cons; Very tight corridors, wonky water section which leads to RDM, not many weapons, rather repetitive areas and very tight for our size.

    Aircraft:

    Keep (with a caveat)

I do really like this map's design, it seems very simple, it leads to a lot of fast paced and exciting rounds, this map is one of the fastest maps on our server in terms of rounds, and I enjoy that hectic style of level design. The caveat is that this map seems to lag a TON when we have more players on. I like everything but it really seems to kill population.

Pros; Fun Design, fast paced rounds, very simple and straightforward.

Cons; the goddamn LAG, the helicopter is very glitchy

    Gameboy Adventure:

    Toss 100%

I dislike this map so much that there are basically no pros, it gets RTVed round 1 7/9 times I've played on it, it is inescapably laggy, I don't think any of the neat things you can do justify the sheer size of it.

    Mtt Resort:

    Keep

In direct opposition to the GBA, I really like everything about this map. A short and sweet easter egg, no excessive frills, the Undertale theme is fun. It has a good mix of open and closed spaces, even if it leans more towards closed, and the T traps are nicely spread.

I know this is a lot of the staff's favorite map, and I agree with that.

Only problem is that the elevator breaks really easily.

  6. I am very interested in this idea,  but my only question is what specifically have you learned from the past suggestions and attempts at this that is going to make this work for GFL?

It's easy to say it'll be different, it'll also inspire more confidence to say how you're taking the issues from the past and fixing them.

That being said, I've played Java MC since beta .7, but I've never tried a mini game server, so I'll try it if you put it together ❤

  7. Minigame Title; Dead Men Tell no Tales

Reason To Remove; Stops games dead in their tracks because of a colossal lack of information, especially with less confident Traitors and reaching the end of the round.

Additional Info; Last time this came up a good 5 or 6 people killbinded towards the end just to get it over with, as well as there were about four reports. This one isn't bad if the Ts have momentum but if they don't it just gets really confusing and slow AF. The round ended up ending with the timer.
