Unfortunately, as I was the one who issued both the silence and the ban I will be reviewing this appeal, you commenting on my admin's profile on steam was the "last straw" so to speak. The motd states that harassment can include usage of slurs and discrimination, not that it requires either. To respond to one of your steam comments, on several occasion in our logs you've been transphobic and homophobic, including using alternative spellings of slurs in order to avoid the automod. You have, on several occasions, after being silenced for transphobia and homophobia, ignored warnings and continued to include transphobia and homophobic slurs in your name on the server, continuing into this year. After getting a week ban for that, instead of appealing or stopping, you decided harass one of my admin's on their profile, resulting in your final ban, this time permanent, as I have a zero-tolerance policy for that. All of this shows me that you do not "have good character" or "exhibit good behavior", this appeal is denied, you can try again after a minimum of 3 months.

@Chuggarocks The automod logs exactly what you said, that explanation doesn't work when you took the time to use parentheses and punctuation, I'd be willing to give you the benefit of the doubt had you not previously gotten auto-silenced for the hard r, as this is your second offence and you lied in your appeal your silence has been extended to a week.

+1 I believe Aurora would make a great mod, plus she needs more roles to catch up to @Infra.

Hello @Cicada, after checking the chat logs and the admin log I'm confident this silence was justified, there are 2 reasons listed for your punishment, the first is breaking rules 1 and 14, the second is resorting to harassment towards my admin and other players, on top of that there's chat of you saying "Ima keep doing it" referring to killbinding to avoid death. I'm not providing the admin's name as I can only see it leading to further harassment based on your chat logs. This appeal is denied.

As there aren't really extenuating circumstances around this silence I won't be lifting it entirely, but as you've been vouched for I will reduce it by 16 hours, however, should it happen again no such consideration will be made in the future, and if it happens again with the same slur the next length may be doubled at my discretion.

I'm glad you've learned your lesson, however as this was not an extenuating circumstance I will not be lifting this silence, as a courtesy I will decrease it by 12 hours but if it happens again I will double the length to 2 days.

Regardless of whether you consider it indirect or standoffish it was neither, you clearly saw it and chose to ignore the warning twice, kicking you with a message is less effective as sometimes those messages do not work because of certain updates. As for why it's taken a month, you left immediately following the first time and for the others you did in fact change your name, and so were given the benefit of the doubt. I'm denying this appeal.

Your name was changed twice in the space of 3 minutes and you purposely changed it back 3 times, the second time so that it had a winking face, and over the past 30 days you've had your name changed 5 times, I consider that ample warning. We don't allow slurs on the server, it's in the rule list, regardless of if it's "clever", and there's nothing "ingenious" about using homophobic slurs.

You didn't say baguette, you replaced the b with an f, and I find it hard to believe that was accidental, if you would like to try and provide a reasonable explanation as to why I will leave this appeal open for a few hours. So first and foremost, the excuse that it means cigarette (not cigarette butt) doesn't even fly in the uk when directed at someone in that way, let alone in texas or anywhere else in the us, second, if you have evidence of staff saying worse in vc by all means send it, but I very much doubt that would be the case, third, I would hope by now that you do know the server has an automatic system, this is your 3rd time being silenced by it, thank you for bringing this to my attention as combined with a previous mute for slurs your mute has been extended to be permanent for exceeding the slur limit in voice in the past 12 months, you have one more chance after this 1 day gag expires before a permanent chat gag is applied as well. It has only been 12 days since your last appeal, you haven't addressed any of the reasons why you got silenced despite me outlining them in the last appeal, this is very low effort. Also you've put your steam community url for steam id, your steam id is STEAM_0:0:580795695.

After consulting with my admins it has been decided that this appeal will be denied as it's too soon after the ban considering what the ban was for, regardless of who was using the account, you can try again in 3-6 months.
