My left controller for my Valve Index died a few weeks before the release of Half-Life: Alyx. I've been going through the RMA process. They've had my controller at their facility for almost 5 business days now, and I haven't heard anything, but Steam Support assuring me that I'll get an email when they scan my package.
I really hope they haven't lost my package.

Does the service offer any kind of guaranteed date? If they don't, then I would wait a little longer. If they do, and this is long past that date, I'd call them right away and demand they find my package. If they can't find it I'd demand a replacement.
One thing I learned from my Dad was how to handle companies like Amazon over the phone. He would NOT stop until they at least gave some kind of compensation. It's quite grand gotta say.
Sometimes you just gotta be a little less nice and demand what you deserve.
Either way, I really hope things work out alright. I'm hearing Alyx is a wonderful game. Hopefully steam will get their shet together so you can play it haha
