*casually mentioning that it's my birthday*

Just to get ahead of crazy theories, haha: I am ready for new challenges beyond GFL, so this marks my final day as staff. I will be staying at least for a little while as team leader of the development team until it can be handed off to a new leader who'll hopefully do a better job lifting its great devs to new heights!

Just passed my last exam. Finally, I have a BSc in Computer Science. 🎉 Very happy right now, and looking forward to my master's where I'll specialize primarily in algorithms and cryptology (with some machine learning, functional programming, and language-based security on "the side").

I also just started part-time in one of the more prestigious IT companies here in Denmark, so at least 2020 is not all bad, haha. 😄

Just had my last exam today. I'm finally free. 🎉

My girlfriend and I just got the keys to our new apartment; we decided to move together since I'll soon wrap up my master's degree and thus be ineligible for the student accommodation I've been living in for the past few years. This is the first time in a decade, that I will be living in a decently sized home with a dishwasher, our own washing machine and dryer... man, I feel old getting excited about stuff like this, haha.

Really excited about our new home, soon being done with studying, and where my career will lead me. I am currently stepping out of a lot of student organizations and similar, and I hope I will soon be able to spend some more time on GFL again.

Anyways, thanks for coming to my TED Talk. 😄

We've disabled Clubs for now. We hope to be able to use them in the future.

The Clubs were not a planned feature, but rather the result of upgrading our forum software. It's a new application in the IPS package, and it lacks a lot of features. Mostly settings and moderation-wise. 

Furthermore, Clubs would make most of our forum obsolete. 

Got a fancy new microphone :D So now I can stay quiet in awesome quality!

Developer application requirements have been lowered due to public opinion.

It is no longer required to be a member beforehand. While I do believe this is a risk, some our most awesome developer did not start out as members, and we don't want to miss any of those!

I've finally slain the last major forum bug. :D Feels good to have an empty tracker at the moment.

Just finished my first year of my bachelor's degree (given I pass all my written exams, haha). Finally I can relax. ?

Ay, passed my last exam! #Vacation!

My left controller for my Valve Index died a few weeks before the release of Half-Life: Alyx. I've been going through the RMA process. They've had my controller at their facility for almost 5 business days now, and I haven't heard anything, but Steam Support assuring me that I'll get an email when they scan my package. I really hope they haven't lost my package.

tfw you're fixing broken Linux packages at 12:30 am on a school night.

The feels when someone made up a critical, company-wide API contract at a meeting and never wrote it down. :^) TL;DR: today was a mess at work.

My broken Valve Index controller was processed at Valve's facility at last, and a replacement unit is already on its way. 😍 Looking forward to finally playing Half-Life: Alyx, haha. 😄

Hi! To be keep it short and sweet, I have sadly resigned from my roles in GFL. I simply don't have the time anymore after beginning to work full-time. I will probably stick around in the main Discord so if you ever need anything, please reach out! 😄
