  1. As I mentioned prior to you on Discord. I can't share the detection as that could lead to people finding ways to not trigger it and could also affect it negatively. The AntiCheat detected you. You were banned on Sat, 13 Feb 2021 17:44:10 GMT. Feel free to appeal your ban in at least 6 months from now. This can be reduced if you are willing to cooperate and actually admit what you did wrong (Please keep in mind we have the full detection and reason as to why you were flagged by the AC, so if you do cooperate please be truthful). This appeal has been denied.

Will be closed and moved in 12 hours from now, so that you can reply.

All of this was bought to Council with the hope that it'd do something as it was bringing down a lot of his staff, and what did Council decide was the best punishment for all of this? A 14 day stand down.

Please inform yourself prior to making such claims. Council had nothing to do with that decision and I, alone as the Division Leader of Garry's Mod division, took the call. Council members did criticize my decision. Don't blame all when they had nothing to do with this.

Yes, I've been harsh on those who seem like they're here for just roles, but I've explained many times why I do this, because I've seen a community I was apart of die when someone was given all of the roles because she had a thing with the owner. Like, legit die, all staff left because she was abusive and the owner did nothing. And I didn't want that to happen here. So I am highly critical of those people. Although I have recently apologized to Bue for it as she's been doing a good job, and I haven't said anything about her for a long time. Right now, the only problem is Salad.

I will use Bue as example. She did a very good job on Rust. Got promoted due to it, people that are not around Rust division will only see as getting roles because of gender. Salad, who has been in GFL for years, did a good job and was promoted to other positions, I fail to see how it compares to your old community where the owner gave someone a role for existing.

everything I say here is probably going to get invalidated pretty fast,

If that happens, doesn't that mean your arguments are bad and/or missing parts?

Yes, I've been a cunt, but it's mostly been contained to private Discords where I assumed things would be kept private.

By this logic, everything that happens in a private discord shouldn't be punished?

I also made an abuse report on you about your discord moderating behaviour and i didn't get any response from you so i don't think you actually saw that

It's common sense to not reply to a report on yourself.

Look at how many views those threads got that are allegedly only visible to high tiered staff?  I have to admit I'm pretty skeptical.

I'm pretty sure that if you refresh your browser or change posts and go back (clicking again on the link) it count as a new view. I can be totally wrong on this though.

You’re taking away the only communication members have with higher ups.

Applications are not the only communication between members and higher ups.

How is someone’s application sensitive information?

Sometimes admins bring up concerns that could spark some drama and/or contain info that we don't wish to be public.

    3 minutes ago, Amelie said:

What are you so afraid of us seeing?

Nothing much, we just don't believe members need to see applications. The same way you don't see job applications being public or the same way you don't see applications for volunteers position public.

-“If it’a implemented”. It was already a thing before.

It was only a thing due to an IPS problem, it wasn't a thing due to we wanting it to be.

I mean you are putting someone to a admin position, dont you think your player base should know who is/isnt getting accepted as admin?

They don't really need to know who is or isn't getting accepted. There is a Staff list that can be checked regarding new admins and people can always DM the Manager regarding new admins.

You are not saving this player from leaving, you are simply saving them from being bullied about that one thing.

We should avoid creating more things that can be used to harass or bully people.

Say X joins GFL. Y and Z decide they really don’t like this person. They make an application, and harassment ensues. If the mods assist, and the appropriate people are dealt with, X will not wish to leave.

This rarely happens, I've been DMed more than once by people whose friend is being harassed because they were afraid of speaking up themselves.

This point has not been made before because this is the first time. Please explain why it would be harmful.

X player is applying for Y position. X player is not really liked by some people. X player is denied for Y position due to Z reasons. People that dislike X player start bullying said player. X player stops playing because he is being harassed.

Was this explained to the applicants? 7 months is never an acceptable period for discussion. “A few times”? Am I correct to believe that discussions were made due to general unease about the mod team, or issues? And that the decision was made not to do anything, and trust the TL?

I don't really recall every detail and everything that was said at the time. I do recall that I mentioned a few times that apps were taking too long to be dealt with. Due to me being a DL, I don't really have a say over mod team or how they run things. I don't want to say much on this as I don't remember that much and I don't want to say things that are false or misleading.

If someone crosses the line, immediately reach out to the mod team or higher ups.

Some people are afraid of higher ups, never really understood why :(

  9. 18 minutes ago, Amelie said:

GFL did nothing about this, until we started to talk shit about it.

This is a bit wrong, I can recall at least a few times we talked about it with Mod team. If I recall correctly, the apps were sitting in the void because the Mod TL at the time felt like there was no need for new mods.

If it is an anxiety/public eye issue, perhaps you should not be in a position that is scrutinized, or one that could trigger your anxiety.

Don't have this personally and I don't think any of my managers have it.

Toxicity should not be a problem, but it is. That’s why we have mods and rules. Toxicity is a punishable offense.

Why allow something that can be used to harass and be toxic towards other? I really can't recall by head anything important a member has brought up to posts they can see (using Ban Appeals as example, most if not all replies are shitpost).

I personally see nothing really good coming out of allowing members to see admin apps besides allowing people to see it.
