  1. ok that was painful to read, so basically if an role copier/stealer uses its effect on an undecided who has chosen a role should turn undecided instead of the chosen role? im not sure if i agree

  2. imo mercenary seems better than defective, traitors are supposed to be secret and having one of them be pretty much just obviously pointed out is not good, and the det shop doesn't help it much either. and stalker, i never got to play as it and it seems really interesting (main thing i can think of is watching like an ankh with a remote-slam placed on it for when a bunch of people are near)

this would also be a good idea, skeledoot should maybe also get a credit when it is killed by a player to discourage players from killing it (since the more annoying weapons have a credit cost)

ohh yeah that would be even better

    3 things
1: traitors can't be revived, so not really a good point
2: overly complicated role specific rules aren't really fun, so I would say that just using quickchat binds as normal shouldn't be considered "exploiting", as it is a feature of the game.
3: I haven't got to it much due to other projects, but I am working on a fix to make the undead unable to use the quickchat binds, similar to shinigami.

    1. well i mean if its clear that something is a bug then it would be exploiting, if its clear that undeads shouldn't be able to communicate then it should be exploiting to use a glitch to still be able to chat

    2. that fix would be nice

  5. since undead shouldn't be able to communicate yet due to a bug they can use quickchat it should be considered an exploit and against the rules, nobody wants their t round ruined because a tbuddy was revived and is running around using quickchat to reveal the other traitors (or just other things where an undead can out their killer or something)

its supposed to be backup firepower, not a way to reveal the evils

  6. I think pixie/sprite/fairy shoild be added as two roles: fairy is the innocent one but doesnt have the trolly wands (to reduce the chance of them trolling and ending up in an rdm-like situation) while sprite would be an evil (traitor prob) with everything

I think doing it every weekend may be a bit much because for some players that may be their only opportunity to play and those players may want to actually play competitively / seriously.
I also  think it'd be quite difficult to implement when you consider time-zones, the likelihood for a restart to be required each time, and the fact someone would have to code something that swaps the settings for every role and then back.

These points aside I do think that it'd be a good idea to have a regular event; the server would really live up to the name "Anarchy" during these times.

yeah the main idea of it is that there should be a regular event that people should be able to count on happening so if they want to play chaos, they know when to play + it would likely mostly just be about changing the cvars to increase chance of roles spawning, and cvars can be changed without a restart

seems like a cool idea, might need to be made only one day of the weekend, but still a cool idea. I think that hidden and other similar roles aren't seen nearly enough (without !force), so making a specific time where they are more common would be a really fun opportunity to try some of them out. I wouldn't make them TOO common though, because part of the fun of the roles come from how rare they are.

yeah i dont mean like every round but like you could expect to see them in a 10 or so round play session during that day/weekend

  9. basically every weekend just have it up the spawn chances for the rarer neutral roles for more chaotic and exciting games, then on the weekdays its standard, (slightly) more serious/competitive gameplay but on the weekends its more chaotic fun.
doesn't have to be like super increased spawn chances, but just like so that people can expect to see roles like hidden and slayer in their play sessions on the weekend

  10. honestly this is just a worse jackal, though it could be interesting if it had more roles, then it could act as a replacement for the traitors as a more cooperative, deception based team instead of just everyone splitting up and killing.

  11. yeah makes sense, i was kinda thinking the same thing and mostly just felt like it should at least be mentioned, this would work better as just a knife rework (maybe a 2 credit weapon but it has more/infinite uses tho cant be thrown + backstab)
