What did I just witness?

-
Probably explore the world, that kinda thing.
-
Bigroom.
For one it's quite unappealing to the eyes and is very easily mistaken for geekroom by new players.
Not many spots, making it hard to hide with even a small amount of people on.

Heavy rain with sun shining through the clouds at around 2:00pm during summer with a temperature of 25 Degrees Celcius.
It's calming >:U

Spiders, primarily wolf spiders, that's solmething from inception right there D:
Sinkholes, never know when they're gonna come out from beneath you and suck your whole house down.
Heights, Enjoy being there, hate seeing there.
Becoming the back of a human centipede, Heck no.
That's nasty.
And the Ocean, Too much water.

Didn't know this was a thing.

Welcome to Zexired's never-to-be-finished guide to everything for GFLClan's Hide'n'Seek.
Movement
There are a few methods of movement, there is of course the basics of the basic, walking, crouching Ect. But there are a few techniques that players, like yourself can use and abuse to help your hide and seek experience move that bit faster.
Sprint Jumping
Sprint jumping is one of the most useful skills to have, it's easy to learn, easy to use and has many advantages that come with it. To sprint jump; hold SHIFT then jump with the spacebar, let go of SHIFT after jumping to maintain speed without wasting any stamina.
Sprint-Crouch Jumping
Sprint-Crouch jumping or Crouch Jumping are very similar, however, crouching allows for longer airtime and it can help you to reach different places that would otherwise not be achievable with regular jumping. To do this, copy the exact methodology as above, however, as you jump you want to hold CTRL to duck during your airtime.
Bunny Hopping/Bhopping
Bunny Hopping is one of the most useful and most enjoyable things to do in Hide'n'seek, it can be used to get away from just about anyone without wasting much, if any sprint. Not only can Bhopping be used in getaways, you can use it to do parkour, or one of my personal favourites; launching yourself off of slopes/ramps.To Bhop, follow the steps of Sprint-Crouch Jumping, however, you need to be holding A or D while doing this, it's recommended that you swap to those mid-air. As you hit the floor you'll need to jump while holding/pressing control, this will let you maintain your speed from the sprint without wasting any stamina.
There are two variations of this, Ducking and Standing, both of which have their advantages and disadvantages: Ducking only requires you to press spacebar and can be used in areas with low ceilings/tight spaces/jumps with relative ease, however, you are required to only use A/D. On the contrary, Standing can, for the most part, be used with W A and D, as well as this, you can use the extra height of standing to do some jumps that ducking would not be able to make, however, it is not suitable for most tight spaces/low ceiling areas.Slopes are and can be either a powerful tool or a great downfall for you when Bhopping; to use these to your advantage can be hard, but it does pay off. Follow the steps above when you find a suitably slanted surface that you're able to stand on without sliding, then, follow the steps above towards the surface, make sure to hit the slope while facing the direction that you want to go, if timed correctly and depending on the chosen slopes angle, you will be sent in the direction the slope is heading down towards. This can be tricky to use, but if timed correctly, or with various other slopes, you can gain a lot of speed, distance and fun.
Doing it Backwards
Self explanatory, no need to be a show-off, but sometimes it can be more beneficial; it allows you to keep a close eye on the people behind you, and a blind eye on the AFK seeker you're about to bhop into.
Taunting
Taunting can be used to antagonize and humiliate other players, or to mess around with mates.
Generic Taunting
The 'Generic Taunting' is the most simple of all taunts and can be used for a small amount of fun while standing out of sight of any seekers or fellow hiders. to do this simply press the 'R' key, there are multiple variants as of what your character will say and it is completely randomized for every player. Taunts may differ depending on character model and/or gender.
Acting
'Acting/animations are always fun; whether you're dancing sleazily at seekers while you make your escape or you just want to give the seekers, or hiders, a friendly wave while they fail to reach you over and over again. To use these; open the console via the Tilde key ~ and type "act dance" or whichever act you want to do. The key to open the console may and will vary depending on keyboard or what you've bound it to. It can be activated and bound to a key in the OPTIONS menu.(FULL LIST BELOW)
Teabagging/Duck Taunting.
Self explanatory; duck hard and duck fast.Binding
Chat Binding
Note: All of the following is done via the Console, in order to open the console, use the tilde key or you systems designated key. This can be changed in-game in the settings. (Most commonly the Tilde Key) ~`
Binding is useful anywhere and everywhere on Gmod, whether it's Hns, DarkRP, Murder, SCP RP, Breach, Fat Kid. it's useful everywhere. Even in other games. To bind a key, do as show below.
bind [Key] "say words words words"
Example: bind p "say [rainbow]PROMOTE [rainbow2]JAT!"
This will cause your in-game character to say that exact phrase every time you press the selected key, the "say" is needed at the beginning. Neat, right?
Acting Binding
To bind an act command type the following; Bind [KEY] "act muscle"
This will now make you dance in an exposing way whenever you press that key. Example: bind [ "act agree"
Dangers
You can bind just about everything and anything to your keys. But that's not always a good thing, here's a few things you shouldn't do.
unbind all
Bind LSHIFT QQQUnbinding
Just type unbind [KEY]
Not sure what key is bound to what? Type "Bind [KEY]" In chat and it will show you what is bound to your selected key.Useful Links
EDITORS NOTE: UPDATE THIS YOU MONGREL.Chat
Chatting and chat commands are very vital things to improve your overall fun and/or performance in Hide'n'seek. There are many commands and hotkeys that you'll need to know.
Pointshop
The Pointshop is opened by saying !shop in chat or with F3.
Jukebox
Need to stop the Jukebox? Type !stop in chat, alternatively, you can open it up with !jb or F7. Alternatively, you can add songs to the queue or request songs to be added to the jukebox if they're not already there!
MOTD
Need to check the Motd? press F9 or F2 to see everything you need to know and more!
Team Chooser
Wanna watch as a spectator or get back into the game? Press F2 in order to bring up the Team Chooser.
Whispering
To whisper type !p [PLAYERNAME] [TEXT], this will send whatever you wanna say to that selected player. Example: "!p Zexired your guide sucks." This will send a message to Zexired, if he's in-game, telling him, privately, that his guide sucks. If the player has too many spaces in their name, you can put quotation marks around it to specify who you're talking to, Example: "!p "r i s i n g" Quit car surfing >:("
Muting
To mute a player; hold TAB, right-click the player(s) picture(s) and click mute. Alternatively; the ULX menu has a beautiful array of mute commands under the "chat" section.Menu
Another neato feature that can be useful is the ULX menu, open it up by typing !menu in chat or 'ulx menu' in console, you'll be able to access various commands (depending on rank) with ease.
Chat Color
One of the down-right most fun things to do in-game is to mess around with the array of colors the server has to offer, to make colored text you needa first find out what color you want, a link will be provided in the "Useful Links" Section for all of the colors, then, type the following without the full stop in the brackets.
[rainbow.]Text.
This will make whatever you say after the chosen color to become that color, this can be implemented with other colors to make a rainbow of beautiful text!
Act(s)
Dance, Muscle, Robot, Wave, Salute, Bow, Agree, Disagree, Zombie, Cheer, Halt, Laugh, Becon, Forward, Pers.
!!!!! Advanced Sprays !!!!!
Unfinished, Unformatted, Unprofessional.
Advanced Sprays is probably one of the best-worst Addons to be introduced to Hide and Seek. I love it.
Advanced Sprays uses HTML (links) and what-not to source images; the type of versatility of sprays expand based on the persons rank, as shown below.
